I have 4 pairs of similar boots from Ecco. The best and most long-lasting have been made in Portugal. They are more expensive by $50+ but well worth it. These fit well, are substantially made of quality materials, and exactly what I hoped they would be, and they're made in Portugal. Avoid the cheaper similar Ecco styles (dare I say made in China?), because you will, for sure, get what you pay for...

This is a stunningly beautiful boot!! I did find that it runs a bit narrower than most ECCO products. I was able to compensate buy wearing very sheer socks. For reference, I am a US size 11 but typically wear an EU 44 in ECCO products. If I had it to do over, I would get a 45 in this particular product.
