These boots were a gift for my son and he loves them! Great fit and very comfortable.
always had good experience with ECCO shoes and boots
Ecco shoes and boots are excellent quality. These boots fit well and are comfortable after break in. My 2nd pair of eccos and will continue to buy as long as the quality stays.
I ordered these for outdoor use walking in the woods with the dogs and also for some general hiking. The conditions they may encounter range from well below zero with snow/slush to hot with a chance for mud or rocks. Day one I put them on, and went out to pick up dog poop from the winter on our 1 acre yard. It took an hour, and go figure, I stepped in some poop also. I hose them off with the garden hose while they were still on, and no wet feet.I'm wearing them at work for a while to see how they feel walking on cement all day, and so far so good. Since they were $89.99 when I bought them, I decided like them enough to order another pair. Today I see the price in my size was $81.99, bonus.I have been wearing a size 13 mens in my running shoes lately, specifically mostly Atras which have a huge toebox area. I was worrying that the size 46 would be a bit tight, but I am wearing them with my normal medium weight merino wool socks and they have plenty of room.I will update my review after I break them in and put more miles in them, but so far, so good.
My husband always wears Ecco boots. These are good quality and fit as always.
I had such a nice pair for at least a dozen years but they finally gave up the ghost and, of course, that model hasn't been made for years. These fit the same, which is most important, and have most of the features I wanted: gore-tex, right height, and a rugged outsole. I hope they last as long as the last pair.
I have used Ecco shoes and boots for many times. I wear size 12. I walk and hike a lot. 10 to 20 kilometers a day is usual for me. So I am always looking for a good pair. Came across this Ecco men's expedition boots. Right out of the box, it seemed like a great quality overall. But the material which those boots made of is really hard. I decided to put them to the test and went for a 15 mile hike. At first, they felt great - good support and kept my feet dry (it was snowing hard). In about 6 miles I got blisters on both of my feet at the same spot. The back of the shoe is hard and tight. The material was rubing against skin. I had to put bandages to make it back. If you need boots which does not involve a lot of walking, you should be fine, but if you go more than 5-6 miles I would recommend to look for something else.
Use it for walking in a cold weather. Worm wool socks and there is still some room- I think size runs little large to allow for socks.Good arch support, firm, protective and supportive sole.
