I tend to be very hard on shoes. I can go through a pair of Keens in six months, and lesser shoes even faster. But, ECCOs have become my shoe of choice for more than 15 years. I used to have to find them in high-priced specialty stores or order them directly from ECCO; but, the effort and cost was worth it to find comfortable, performing shoes that last me years instead of months.Currently, I have four pair of ECCO's, brown and black moccasins for work, and Track II shoe for hiking and walking. I'm on my second pair of Track II shoes. After 10 years of use, uppers of the first pair are still in exceptional shape; but, the bottom finally wore down. While shopping for a good pair of motorcycle boots, I realized that it was virtually impossible to find a motorcycle boot that could double as a walking and hiking boot while on distance rides. Ends up that the Track II is significantly better quality than most motorcycle boots, especially the "Made in China" Harley boots. The Track II boot provides me with all day comfort, good protection from flying objects, heavy waterproof leather, good grip at greasy intersections, and exceptional performance for off bike walking and hiking. A bonus: They're great for casual Friday's at work.
I have enjoyed Ecco Track II shoes and boots ever since I was introduced to them when working for Nordstrom. Have not bought them since I left Nordstrom and lost that 33% managers discount. Now that I found them for a huge discount below retail/MSRP on Amazon, I am once again enjoying these high quality supportive comfortable durable GoreTex equipped shoes! These shoes are. In my opinion, worth the $229 retail price, but money is tight for me now so getting such a high quality shoe for such a large discount is fantastic! As for quality, these shoes are nowmade in China, but I have seen no change whatsoever in quality since I bought my first pair of Ecco Track II shoes that were made in Denmark. Love the shoes, love the price!
This is my second pair of ECCO boots. I bought my first pair of ECCO boots from a local department store (Dillards), to make sure I got a good fit for my size 13 feet. These boots always run true to size. ECCO boots are the most comfortable and durable shoes/boots I have ever purchased. I spend a lot of time on my feet. I am always walking, standing, climbing. At the end of the day my feet, knees, and hips feel great. I will continue to purchase the ECCO brand. They are a bit expensive, but the quality is there. You won't be disappointed.
Good boots and always sturdy. However they are not as comfortable as other Ecco styles I have had. I recommend the Track 6 plain toe boots for comfort.
I have 2 pairs of the low cut version of this shoe that I bought through Amazon. These are very comfortable while working in my yard and my woodlot. Unlike most work shoes I've had, the tongue naturally falls right in place and does not irritate the upper part of my feet. I'm not sure how much they weigh, but they're very light feeling. The padding around the top and on the tongue are just right. I recommend them highly. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Delivery time was supposed to be 7 - 10 days ... they arrived in 2 days!
had them for a month or so and worn them about 7 times. they're fine. no problems light and comfortable enough. the main complaint i have is that i have wide feet and the shoe is a bit narrow so i've had it stretched. when they wear out i would consider buying them again esp if available in a 3E size.
I have had these boots 2 or 3 times before. Outstanding boots!! Extremely comfortable, with great support, and very durable. I wear these for work. I am on my feet, walking on concrete, for 12+ hours a day. I have had other boots/shoes, that did not hold up or provide the support that these do. I love the Gore-Tex, and that they are water proof. I will definitely keep buying these, as long as ECCO keeps making them or something comparable. Very satisfied customer!! A+++++++++
The bison color shown on website has nothing to do with dark brown color I received. The bison colored boot is pictured with all leather upper, the dark brown colored boot I received is leather and nubuck trim. The boot is also stiff compared to picture on website, which makes boot appear to be suppler. I do not understand why vendor would picture Ecco boot in bison colored leather and deliver dark brown leather and nubuck trim than pictured. Does vendor think customers will not notice product received is dark brown instead of bison, in leather and nubuck trim instead of all leather, and is obviously not as ordered and advertised?
