Im the type of person that hates change. I’ve been wearing Sketcher Sargents since I was probably 15 or 16. I’m now 42. I’ve been looking for the past couple years for a change. I found these after searching for hours and bought them. When they arrived I couldn’t believe how nice and well made they were. I absolutely loved them. Up until I started to wear them. They fit perfect. Except the left top where the toe seam and eyelet hole seams meet and 3-4 eyelets up on the inside must’ve been made wrong. I tried everything to fix the issue but it will not adjust even a little bit. The right boot fits perfect and very comfortable. The left boot is the same size as the right boot and fits perfect, but because of that defect on the seam of the boot I can’t even wear them for 5 minutes without being extremely painful. I tried stretcher, I tried putting padding there, I tried breaking them in. Nothing has worked. Figures I finally found a pair of boots after years of looking, shelling out $200, and I can’t even wear them. And to send them back isn’t even worth it. The closest ups, kohls, or anywhere else is over 30 minute drive one way with a 5.7l motor. It’s going to cost me money to send back.
