The Akeyla slide sandal is the most comfortable slide that I have found, and I been searching for the ideal summer sandal for years. The fabric of the vamp is soft and wide and long. It covers the top of my foot adequately and encloses the foot comfortably without risk of turning an ankle, stepping out of the shoe, or struggling to keep it on my foot. There is nothing worse than regretting wearing shoes that are troublesome and the Akeyla shoe truly has no problems. The footbed is ultra soft. There is no raised arch or ortho gimmick that some sandals have that is not good for flat feet like mine. I bought the wide width and I recommend the wide for anyone with wide feet or bunions. My left foot has a substantial bunion. At first the wide felt slightly too big but after wearing the shoes all day in 90 degree Pennsylvania heat they were not too loose at all. There is nothing on the shoe that rubbed or caused discomfort in any way. The sole grips and flexes. I walked in a grocery store, on the gravel parking lot of a garden center and finally on the carpet of a doctor's office with no issues. These will be worn next on the boardwalk planks of Wildwood NJ for the true test of all day comfort. The tan is my favorite shade and the white is also very nice.

Too flat, no support, not comfortable
I purchased 3 colors of this sandal. They are extremely comfortable and easy to wear. Being that I needed a wide width, the shoe is true to size, and fits perfectly. Highly recommend if your looking for a casual slide for the summer.
My narrow feet are loose in them. No arch support. But light stretchy non slippery. Will be returning them as I need arch supporting sole and tighter fit.
Thought I had finally found a replacement for my well-loved, worn out Europedica slides. Took a lot of searching but these seemed to fit the bill. Oh my no! How disappointing. The sz 8 actually left cut marks in the top of my foot and the 8.5 had an uncomfortable footbed. I tried inner soles, etc, to correct, but nothing worked. Finally gave up and donated to clothing drive. Wish could still buy Europedica slides.

These are well made and fit my wide feet but they came a little long. I wear an 81/2 and these were just a tad too long. Not much arch support so if you have those issues - beware. For someone who wants a cute shoe to wear for short spurts of time- go for them!
