These have to be the most comfy shoes I've ever had. I'm older and overweight, but I was able to hike 8 miles in the Scottish Highlands with these shoes!
I have custom orthotics and usually buy Drew shoes, size 6.5 double wide. Before developing a metatarsal issue which called for custom orthotics as part of the treatment, I wore regular width shoes comfortably. I wanted something a little more stylish that's easy to get on and off (other than velcro straps) and decided to try these. I had been contemplating lately trying a size 7 rather than staying with 6.5's. I ordered the Easy Spirit shoes in a 7 double wide and they fit very nicely. Not too much room in the toebox and not too little. The leather/mesh combo is comfortable and stretches well.The sole on these in the center of the shoe is firm and doesn't flex, as is intended with walking shoes. If you have foot problems and need stability or just do alot of walking, you're better off with walking shoes rather than sneakers that can practically be bent in half.These are easy to get on and off with just a gentle pull on the rear strap. They don't feel loose or like they would fall off due to the back opening style. I'm glad I bought these.
These are like a sandal in sneaker form. Keeps feet cool during summer! Very comfortable
