I wore these Eastlands everyday back in the early 90s. Seriously, everyday. These shoes are just like I remember. They are so classic and stylish. I pair them with jeans, trousers, skirts, etc. What's more, they are so comfortable. I really don't remember them being so comfortable. Pleasant surprise.
Good quality shoe. The first day I wore them they were very uncomfortable however the leaguer stretched and I haven't had any issues woth the shoes since. I wish they came in more color varieties.
The first pair I bought 26 years ago and wore them until a little hurricane named Katrina took them away! They were still in very good shape and I wore them often! Now, they no longer looked brand new, but there were no tears, the soles were still in good shape and all the leather was still intact with the original laces. I replaced that pair in 2006 and kept those until a few months ago when we adopted a puppy! They are not puppy proof! "Okay, no problem, just order another pair and keep them behind closed closet doors", I thought. I wear a size 5 or 5 1/2 and now the smallest size they make in Women's is a 6. They were way too big for me! I sent them back, spoke with a representative from the company (very nice) and she suggested a size 3 in children's. They fit perfect! Barring another hurricane or puppy consumption, I'm sure these will last many, many years!
I am a size 9 and sometimes 8.5 but the size 9's I received were way too narrow and even a little short. The quality of the shoe was superb, but be wary if you need a normal width, these are not going to fit.
These are great shoes, I love them! They fit just right, out of the box. I will wear them to work tomorrow and I'm pretty sure they will be fine all day. I used to have to stretch shoes out and adjust before trusting a day in them. These feel like I've already broke them in. Bear in mind though these are suede which is softer than the leather ones maybe that's why I am so comfortable in them right away. I wear an 8.5 in shoes that are not tennis shoes and that's what these are. The sole feels comfortable because of the memory foam liner, really nice!
These shoes are great, but stiff at first. The more you wear them, the more comfortable they fit.
Shoelaces one shoelace is too short.
Shoe is tight through toe area located at tie area second pair returned for same reason even through half size larger.
