Needed to switch from sneakers to steel toe or equivalent which is Alloy toe. Haven't worn boots in years and the First day I had them on for 13hrs and feet or legs never hurt, felt like I had my Air Monarch Nikes on all day. They are that comfortable. Now I can't say about the longevity of the boot, but I Will find out as I wear out sneakers in 6mths with my work. So if they last longer hopefully a year then they are worth the price.Durango boots are a Great boot, MOST boot manufacturer that you find in a western store. All them boots are also made in China!! I know some people don't like that they are Chinese made, but they are a quality boot.Durango also run a Half size small so order a half size larger for a correct fit. I wear a 10D and that foot measurement slide or whatever it's called that you can't find anymore says 10D. But with Durango all my boots are a 10.5D.
According to a google search the boots are made in China.
