It's a nuisance having wide feet with high arches. Trying to find comfortable well-fitting shoes is nearly impossible,...or at least it was. Thanks to this newfangled internet thing and Amazon, plus the wealth of information in reviews and at manufacturer's websites, those of us with wide feet can finally find good shoes. These qualify! The soles grip well even on wet smooth floors, but they do NOT leave marks. The cushioning is adequate and quickly conforms to the foot. ( about one day )They slip on easily thanks to the elastic side panels. The leather looks better than most wide shoes, and the style is acceptable. That's far better than most wide shoes which typically look like cheap orthopedic diabetic neuropathy pillows. Most importantly, THEY FIT!I can wear them all day without getting irritable and walk for miles while Christmas shopping at the mega mall.If you have WIDE FEET, you should check out Dunham footwear. I will probably get more Dunham shoes after this wonderful and relieving experience.
So hard to find shoes in a 13 narrow anywhere for men. These shoes fit wonderful and are supportive for flat feet. Wish the deck shoes in slip on were also available from Durham again in 13 narrow.
Got these for air travel, to avoid unlacing at security checkpoints. These have exceeded my expectations in nearly every respect. First, like most Dunham shoes I have ever owned, these offered a predictable, consistent fit for my wide feet. They are exceedingly comfortable right out of the box. They leather is nice quality, and the finish is attractive and classy. I expected to use them just for flights, but soon discovered they are very comfortable for all day wear, and even quite long walks. These were optimized for extended walking, but they in fact offer way more cushioning and support for that than I ever would have expected. The soles offer excellent traction, even on wet surfaces. I deducted one star for what seems like potential early wear in the heel are of the soles. The traction ridges in that par seem to be wearing down a bit sooner than I'd like. Still, especially for the price and given the looks, comfort and support, I'd buy these again in a flash.
I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes in my size that I like. I have worn these for over four years most days. I wear these more than any other pair. They are comfortable and look great. The soul was starting to wear out, so I have ordered a new pair. They have stood the test of time.
These shoes were worth the money. They stay on good but slide on easy.No aggresive treds which I like. They are flexible enough which will minimize break-in
I have a narrow foot with metatarsalgia and this show is a great fit out of the box.I have always bought Rockports before this but as my foot pain got worse, I found that I had to use orthopedic inserts, not with these! They look good too, not like old man shoes.
What happened to this manufacturer? These shoes use to be perfect for people with wide feet. I wear a 9.5 6E. On the advice of my podiatrist I ordered one size up as I was having some heal problems and he thought a wider shoe for a while would give my foot a chance to heal. I ordered the 10.5 6E high I already have the 9.5 6E. The shoes that arrived were clearly marked 10.5 6E however they were really 10.5 W. Stay away from their manufacturer. I am sadly disappointed in them. This is the second pair I purchased that doesn’t meet my expectations on width.
