I need something quick to slide on for taking the dog out, and durable enough for yard work. These fit the bill perfectly. Very nice quality and comfortable too.
Second pair of Dunhams. Love the shoes, but be careful of the width options. I made the mistake of over-thinking the width as I have a slightly wider foot than normal... so I ordered the 2E - as that is what various online Dunham/New Balance sizing charts calculated me to be. Received them and they were way too wide. No issues with returning and getting the perfectly fitting B. The first day the B's were snug... almost too tight, but on day two they seemed to fit perfectly. I now wear them daily to work. Quite comfortable and well made. Waterproof (and snow-proof).
These shoes are pretty much "as promised," which is good. The seem very well made and sturdy, with good traction. The only reason I take off a star is because the narrow width I ordered is not quite narrow enough in the heal section, causing my heal to lift a little. Perhaps this can happen with slip-ons, but I have another brand that does not have such a problem. The flaw is not a big deal for me because I use the shoes as quick-slip-ons to run outside for household chores, and not for extended walking. The shoes are very comfortable overall. I appreciate that they are offered in a narrow width. The fit length-wise is accurate. They fit arch-support inserts.
Not supportive enough to hike in, you kick up a little debris into the low cut shoes. Use saddle soap to keep the leather well conditioned. Passed for a decent dress casual shoe. Nice cut, too.
Since I discovered these, it is the only brand I purchase. Before Dunham, 10.5 EEEE was the size that fit with other brands. I bought these for my significant other. He has wide feet with a high arch which makes finding slip on shoes a bit of a challenge. He wears an 11EEEE. He wore out 2 pairs of the same style in a suede combo; it took a year to do so which was much longer than most shoes. He needs a knee replacement and these shoes give excellent support with stabilizer in heels, high sides at ankle and the top comes up close to ankle, and overall quality construction inside and out. The first time wearing all 3 pairs (all day on his feet), the shoes were comfortable. The only negative is the shoes track in quite a bit of yard debris that sticks to the bottom. It is due to the large tread which adds to the stability so this is a minor complaint. On a side note, I have purchased a few pairs of dress, Dunham shoes and the size ran true to the other Dunham shoes and were comfortable from day 1.
I like these shoes, look great. They surprisingly run a bit bigger, loose at the ankle. Just fine w thick cold weather socks.
I found this to be a stylish looking shoe that is also quite sturdy. The size was as expected. Note that, as with other good quality shoes, it felt a bit stiff at first. But expect a break-in period followed by comfort for a longer duration than I have had with with a cheap floppy shoe.
As advertised and the narrow width is a better fit than the other slipons I have tried. Also a nice look for very casual or even semi casual
