I bought these boots for my birthday present. I have a pair of LL Bean sheepskin lined house boots that I really like but will not wear out in public (sorry, LL Bean). These Duckfeet boots are great. They seemed too small at the beginning, but I read the website's recommendations and wore them with a thin pair of socks the first day and now they feel just right. Very toasty and warm, plus I can wear them outside the house without feeling like I am in slippers or not properly dressed. I am planning to buy another pair in green or dark blue.
These are just as advertised and arrived quickly. Comfortable with wide toe box area. Nice neutral color.
I bought these directly from duckfeet as a splurge, and I absolutely love them. The wool lining is so comfortable. The cocoa is a beautiful matte brown. The duckfeet design with a wide toebox means your toes splay naturally. As someone who prefers to go barefoot, this is as close as I'll get. The craftsmanship is high. The crepe rubber soles also add to the comfort, though it seems like they will wear more quickly than synthetic soles. (The soles are replaceable. As of Feb 2024, it'd be $100 to send the boots to Duckfeet for sole replacement.)A couple of caveats: 1) these offer zero arch support 2) The heel is a little wide and I had a little slippage even with locklacing, so I ended up added heel cups.I wish a little that I had gotten the unlined Faborg boot because that's 4 seasons, but now I have an excuse to get another pair. :)It's a great boot and well worth the expense.
I LOVE these boots!Bought my size, 38/8, and the sizing feels accurate. The fleece is toasty, the leather workmanship is solid. They do not have much in the way of arch support so I'd highly recommend heel cup insoles for boots - the heel cups don't take any room away from the toe box like a full insole would. I used men's SuperFeet insoles (pictured) because the boots are a wider fit and they fit perfectly, and stay in place.Totally worth the money! These will last year's!
