I've purchased and used a few other brands of similar work boots on our farm including Mucks and Ariat. These Haymakers are by far the most comfortable boots of them all! I keep telling my partner its time for him to replace his boots with a pair. Plenty of cushion, good arch support, and plenty of wiggle room for my toes. I also like the tread much better compared to my others. They still grab mud and manure but clean up is much easier. The heel kick is a much appreciated addition in taking the boots of with ease. I'm in the hot, humid Southeast and these have been very comfortable, feet do not get too hot or sweaty. Have not used them in cold weather as of yet, it's just around the corner.Spend the money, they are completely worth it!
I bought these for my job at a small ice cream shop. I’m in and out of a -20° freezer all day, and my feet tend to get cold very easily. I was using my pair of muck boots when I first started and by the end of the day my feet were sweaty and sometimes cold. Once I got the Dry Shod, I notice my feet stay dryer and have never been cold. The support is better too. I would recommend going down a size because once they form to your foot they get roomier. I am normally a size 8-8.5 and got a 7 and they fit perfectly. Hope this helps someone!
I researched and thought that these might be a great barn boot. The quality, look, and features were very good. I have average width feet, not wide, and found that they felt too snug across the instep. So disappointed, I had to return them. If you have narrow feet they might be for you.
If you are looking for a great barn boot this is it! It’s light in weight and nicely insulated. It provides great traction in muddy areas and on wet cement. They are very warm in the snow and they are extremely comfortable. It’s all around a great boot!
This is a good boot. I'm a farmer, and these boots are my go-to, keeping my feet warm and dry outside, in the mud, ect. Like some of the other reviews, they are a bit tight/narrow on my not-wide foot. But they have stretched out some in the first couple weeks, and I don't think about it as much anymore. My muck boots would last me about a year...hoping these dry-shod boots last longer than that. I wish Amazon would ask for a review a year after purchase so customers can get a sense of longevity.
Love how these boots feel durable and will definitely last for many years to come! Keeps my feet dry and not too hot!
Sizing was 1.5 larger than needed. Thought I ordered a ‘9 ‘ to be on the safe side over an 8 (assuming it was just an 8 , plus reviews stating they ran small ??. But it arrived as a ‘9/9.5’ .I really need an ‘8’ which will be labeled ‘8/8.5’ So they actually ‘run large’ - not small.
Love, love, love these boots! Way lighter than Muck boots and not as big. So they look much better. And they are super warm. Love that you can fold down the top of boots for easy slip on.
