The original makers of the previous brand called Muckboots has returned now called Dryshod. Much higher quality as they used to be with the original owner's company which was sold. Delighted that I could find the quality returned to these wonderful waterproof shoes. I have a special need in that my feet are pancake flat (Normal flexible flat foot variation). The fact that they do NOT have a molded INTERIOR arch support is critical for me for comfortable fit of my flat no arch foot. The outside of the shoe DOES appear to be constructed to support a regular arched foot and so it is my opinion that all people will find this shoe just fine. But for a flat footed person this is perfect!!!
These are really comfortable in cold weather. I would not say they are the best non-slip and are a bit heavy but they are warm, waterproof, and standing around all day outside in cold my feet felt a lot better than in running shoes. Very pleased
This is more like 4 1/2 stars. The only complaint I have is these are heavy shoes. After a while that gets annoying. I've had several pairs of Muck boots and these are much much better quality. They outlast the similar Mucks by a factor of 4 or 5. I don't know why these have to have a steel shank. That would shed some weight and for my purposes be fine. If I need a steel shank I'll put on my work boots. I definitely recommend these though if you're looking for quality waterproof lowrider boots.
The construction appears to be well made, though made overseas. It is totally waterproof and allows your feet to breathe. What makes them kool is there claim to be comfortable. They really are easy to get on, off and do feel like bedroom slippers, to my pleasant surprise. I do plan on getting another pair, price is as expected reasonable.

I ordered these to wear around the house as slippers and they are hard soled and sturdy enough to wear outside. Very well made.
