I’m giving this review on the first day that I own them. Hopefully the review does not change. I usually do not review all items I purchase unless I am impressed. And being as there are no other reviews is yet another reason.I have always owned muck boots, which I do like, but felt like trying something different. The first pair was a pair of rockys of the similar type. Wasn’t sure of them from putting them on but thought a little break-in time and they would be fine. Didn’t go that way and I had to send them back because they were uncomfortable. Then I got these DryShod boots. From the first boot going on I knew they were good. Then I put on the other. Was certainly impressed. They fit very nice and comfortable all the way around for this type of boot. I usually wear about a 9 1/2 so I ordered a 9 thinking the 10 would be too big. Great assessment because the fit is snug enough to be comfortable. No slop and yet slid on and off well. It is -4 today so I could not tell you if my feet sweat. The first time was with regular socks but I switched to a thicker insulated sock to head outside. The fit was still good and I was smiling. The traction on the ice and snow was as good as any boot with good tread and definitely better than my chore muck boots. I hope I don’t repost with a change of attitude about these boots later and I don’t assume that I will. I have worn many a boot in my time and these feel right.
I have had several pair of muck boots. I like the tred on these a bit better, way easier for me to take on and off. And like the design.
Wore these about 14 times in the woods, walking maybe 1/4 or so mile each time and the camo pattern is wearing off on the front of the boots already
