Update: used them on a few hunts and they’re fantastic.Got these for hunting since i usually need to cross creeks/streams/etc where snakes like to hang out. I was originally looking at the ViperStop by Dryshod but its only offered in one camo pattern which doesn’t match the woods of NC. I reached out to dryshod and they informed me this Destroyer boot has the same snake technology as the ViperStop so I pulled the trigger. Can confirm they are waterproof and comfortable. I’ll update this review after doing some scouting in the woods for the upcoming seasons. I usually wear a size 12.5 and ordered a 12 knowing that boots seemingly always run big no matter who makes them. The 12 was way too big, even with thick winter socks, so I returned them and got an 11. In my opinion an 11.5 would’ve been perfect but that’s not offered which is no big deal. The 12 felt super clunky and loose so there’s no way it would have worked while being in the woods. The 11 feels like a natural extension of my body.
I've been using these boots for months. I've had other brands and I am impressed with the quality and comfort of the boots. The "Destroyer" model definitely adds more strength and stiffness. Like the heavy duty style.
