So I picked up my first pair of Driver Club shoes on sale and I’ve been addicted ever since. I now have 8 pairs of there shoes in a variety of colors and styles. These are the shoes you’ve been looking for. Comfortable and stylish. And on budget. I can’t say enough about how much I like them. I can’t say anything about the quality yet, as I am just starting to wear them. I highly recommend you explore this brand and find out for yourself why I gave them 5 stars. Enjoy..
I was looking for a low profile casual shoe for a warmer climate and these looked like a good fit. They rubbed my ankles and toes at first, but I think they just needed some breaking in. Not a bad shoe for the price, compared to Sperry or Dockers.
Have received a lot of compliments with these. First time ever for me with boat shoes. They are well made with soft leather and have comfortable, athletic shoe style, thicker soles. Happy I chose these instead of my usual pair from one of the well known boat shoe brands. I went with the traditional dark burgundy/brown, now I'm tempted to pick up a few more pairs from their large selection of alternative colors.
Somewhat narrow in the toe. No metal eyelets. Lace area is quite high leaving a long toe area that creases in an odd place. Shoe is well made and fairly well cushioned. Easily returned.
I gave the product 3 stars because the footbed is not removable (or so far as I can tell, is not easily removable because it is permanently glued to the inner floor of the shoe) so, with my orthotic inserted my foot sat to high up in the shoe and tended to pop out of the shoe at the heel. Other than that, the shoe is nice-looking (I bought green, which is somewhere between forest green and khaki). Some observations that did not affect my rating: the nubuck/suede is a bit thin but I expected that at the $31 price point, the stitching along the top of the shoe makes the shoe a little tight at the bunions on my big toes (but I had hoped the material would stretch out), and with my orthotic inserted the shoe felt a bit tight (as if I should have ordered a half size up). This could be a 5 star product if the footbed were removable to accommodate an orthotic.Full disclosure: I am a woman. I often buy men's shoes because the D width fits my size 8 1/2 wide (women's C or D width), bunion-y feet. My usual men's size is 7D (sometimes 6 1/2D if the shoe is cut very full and round), and at that size the width is fine without or with my orthotic inserted, and my toes reach almost to the front of the shoes. Hope this helps.
These are very well made shoes. Unfortunately, they didn’t fit so had to return them.
I bought them for my brother and he was very excited and happy with them. They run true to size, they are very comfortable and they look amazing.
