These slippers are warm enough to wear without socks even on the coldest day. The sneaker-like sole feels like memory foam and is thick and strong enough for a walk outside to the mailbox or the trash can. Like other reviewers said, they are surprisingly tight when you first put them on, but after a few minutes of walking around they fit very comfortably.
I have had these for about 6 months. One month ago i brought an 8 week old puppy home. These slippers are one of her favorite chew toys and she steals them whenever she has a chance, I’ve given up and just let her at this point. She has destroyed so many household Items and belongings with her chewing but these slippers do not show any signs of her abuse. They are very sturdy, super warm and comfortable and the look is cute.
These are incredibly soft and plush and warm, even tho they are a open toe slip on. The first couple of days, the slipper was too snug, but as they have broken in to my feet they are the perfect fit. Thick soles, stiff enough to drive with.
I bought these slippers on Dec. 23, it arrived on Dec 25, today is Jan. 22 and these slippers are already coming apart.I love the slippers. It’s fluffy, soft and very comfortable. I bought it for a very cheap price so it definitely was worth it but for the regular amount I don’t think I would buy it.
I go through slippers like socks! I absolutely have to wear slippers in the house for good back support and alleviate pain. In general, if you wear slippers daily they will wear down over time from use (that is expected) BUT out of the amount of slippers I have bought these by far are my favorite. They are made well, have a good sole support. The sole has good amount of firmness but comfortable. Lightweight that it doesn't strain your back since your working to keep a slipper on. I love these and as they wear down I will come back for another purchase!
They are warm and comfy. They provide alot of support. They do run small. I'm a seven and a half so at first I ordered and eat cuz they don't come in half sizes with the eight was still too small to exchange it for a nine and they ended up fitting.
These slippers look beautiful and appear of high quality as with all the shoes I've had from the Fireside line. My family and I have purchased several styles over the years and found them all to be of excellent quality and durability.That said, these shoes, while comfortable, started out almost too wide for my not really narrow feet and now in less than 1 month have stretched out to the point they are becoming dangerous for me to wear. I purchased them to replace another brand's shearling slippers that had finally stretched out too much after nearly 3 years.Generally running around the house today doing some odd chores I have nearly fallen twice because the shoes are too loose. Luckily I'm light on my feet! And older, less spry person might have a problem.Another strange feature is that the wool on the insoles has already started to flatten out and show wear. Rather than the expected revealed sheepskin leather - you know that the wool grows out of - there is a strange white woven fabric. It does appear the insoles are lined with real wool so I'm not quite sure how they've achieved this, but it doesn't appear to be durable at all. I guess that explains why they are also a bit sweaty .All in all, they are pretty but I would not purchase them again and will probably have to give these away soon.
I have worn these slippers everyday in my house for the last two years and I LOVE them. I highly recommend them, they are a little worn in the toes but I don't mind. They are warm but not too warm and the soul is thick and soft. They don't get dirty and don't make my feet sweat.
