Ordered these black sandals just days before my trip to Europe. They fit perfectly upon arrival (size 7) and are adjustable with secure, easy to use velcro strips. It has the look of a buckle strap without the hassle! I was a bit concerned that I didn't get a chance to break them in before I left, but surprisingly, I didn't develop a single blister or expereince rubbing in the shoe. Since I could adjust these throughout the day, especially when my feet would swell in the 100+ degree heat, I remained comfortable all day. The footbed is supportive and the low platform heel gives height without heel or arch pain. I wore these for our daily tours with shorts/skirts and dresses for a few nice dinners in the evening. I walked over 11,000 steps a day all over Germany, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, and Austria for 2 weeks, and did not have any problem with foot or back pain. The quality of this shoe is definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend.
Adjustable and fit well. I normally wear size 38 in Dansko clogs same for these sandals.
Comfortable, cute shoe. When I have a bad plantar fasciitis flare up though I can’t wear these unfortunately.
I love Dansko sandals, but the buckles were velcro….which I do not care for. I returned them for a sandal with a true buckle.
I have owned quite a few Danskos over the last 15 years, and this is the first pair I have been disappointed in. The footbed is the same hard orthopedic one Dansko lovers are familiar with. It has great support and is comfortable.The rest of the shoe is not. I thought the Velcro was a great innovation. Nope. I hate the Velcro. It's not heavy duty enough to stay latched and sometimes comes undone while walking. It also isn't adjustable enough to get the shoe to fit well. It's a bit loose even in the smallest it will go. And I didn't get too big of a size because the footbed is perfect. I get that some people can't latch a buckle, but this isn't working.My biggest disappointment is the edges on all the leather uppers are sharp/rough. I bought these for walking and it's the leather edges that cut up my feet. It didn't matter how loose or tight I made them, I ended up with bleeding feet and ankles. So these are not useful for the very reason I bought them... Long days in my feet walking!Not the quality I expected for the price I paid.
I usually wear a size 38 / 8-9 in this brand but I went down one whole size to getthe right fit for this. (your mileage may vary). Nothing hurts me on these shoesand I have bunions and wider feet. Nearly everything is adjustable the heel backs,the front of the heel and the over the toe parts. You can really make them your own.I bought nearly every color. They look just as great with skirts as they do withdresses or shorts. Thank you.again Dansko.
Typical Dansko fit. Perfectly comfortable and fit like my usual Danskos. I like that they are adjustable with velcro and NOT buckles. I have had no issues with the velcro coming loose and I have 3 pairs already that have velcro---walking for 11 miles a day at Disney. More comfortable to me than sneakers and much cooler in hot temps.
So comfortable and no wearing-in period.
