I ordered these shoes based on the numerous five star reviews and they did not disappoint! Really nice sandals, they may run a smidge small, I ordered a half size up. Love the velcro closures which make for an easy, custom fit. Good arch support, which is critical to my comfort. The style of these sandals nicely camouflages my flaws--bunions and flat feet. I liked them so much, I ordered a second pair, one in camel, the other in black. The sandal goes with everything, from jeans to dresses. The price is more than fair. Thank you, Dansko! I love dansko shoes and this sandal is no exception. It is true to size and I love the Velcro on all straps which makes the fit fully adjustable. The sole is an odd, decorative wood-grain finish (the only thing I’m not totally happy with) but, due to the materials used, the sandals are very light-weight. The footbed is a traditional dansko insole that does not flex but provides a very comfortable walking experience. This style can be both dressy and semi-casual.
This is a great shoe! Quality materials, solid feel so stable when walking. Easy adjustable strap. Good support while walking. Wore them all day right out of the box. Seemed true to size and consistent with the size you wear in other shoes of this brand. I am usually a 9 USA size and in this brand I consistently wear a 39. Love this shoe and recommend it.
I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and sometimes a 9 depending on the brand. I figured the 8 1/2 to 9 would be perfect. NO! It was much too short. I ordered a 9 1/2 to 10 and it fits. Never in my life have I ordered that size before!!!! And I am 76 years old.The shoe is comfortable and well made. It looks nice on my feet. I have a narrow foot and the Velcro straps worked well to adjust for my narrow feet. It appears to me that the same would be true for people with wide feet.So, worry about the length and not the width with this shoe. You may want to use the "try before you buy" option for this shoe.
A great buy! Attractive and very comfortable! I paid attention to the reviews and found going up one size made the perfect fit for my wide foot. I also love the fact that you can adjust the fit at both the heel and toe bed as well.
I hadn't been able to wear shoes with any height due to bunions and hammertoes. But, I took a chance on these because I had heard such good results with Dansko shoes. I am so glad I bought them. Was able to be on my feet for events and felt no pain. Highly recommend.
I will always enjoy every Dansko product I buy. These were not a disappointment (as usual with Dansko). Very lovely and comfortable shoes. My back felt better while wearing these. Now that I’m spoiled on Dansko shoes, I’ve decided never to buy a cheap pair of shoes again. Good shoes are worth investing in. These have invisible velcro straps, so you will not need to fiddle with a buckle/strap - this makes it nice and easy if you have back problems. The best part? You cannot see the velcro at all. I’d give ten stars if I could.
