When choosing footwear that guarantees comfort, the Dansko Women's Professional Black Oiled Clog stands out prominently. Built for long hours of standing or walking, these clogs feature a padded instep collar that significantly enhances your experience as you navigate through your day. The leather upper adds to the shoe's aesthetic appeal while ensuring durability.
What sets this clog apart is its roomy reinforced toe box, which offers ample space for your toes to move freely, making them less susceptible to any discomfort. The polyurethane outsole combined with a rocker bottom design facilitates a smooth transition with each step, which is especially beneficial for individuals who are always on the go.
In terms of stability, the wide heel strike is a thoughtful addition that provides a reliable base, reducing the risk of slipping as you navigate various surfaces. This aspect makes them particularly appealing for professionals required to remain on their feet for extended periods.
While the Dansko clogs are largely praised, some users note that they may feel slightly tight for those with wider feet, necessitating a break-in phase. However, many agree that the overall benefits greatly outweigh these minor downsides.

I've been trying to find a proper work shoe for years now. Finally gave into Dansko. I absolutely love the shoe. For someone with very flat feet that has to stand all day (literally 12-14 hours) I've never been able to find something that allowed my feet to not feel like death at the end of the day. Arch support is tricky for me since I do have such flat feet but I don't have any problem with these. The only problem I DID have was that the first pair I ordered were way, way, way too small. I could barely get my feet in them and my toes were smashed. I ordered a size up and they're still a little tight around the arch but much better. I think these shoes are just the type that need A LOT of break in time. I ordered a foot stretcher and actually tried stretching them (for my new pair) to break them in faster and it seemed to have helped a lot. It's kind of weird... Support is amazing for some odd reason but the arch is just TIGHT. Heel feels amazing and I never even got a blister, the arch is just super tight on my left foot. The leather is also rock hard so I figured it's just the way they're made/the leather. I definitely recommend the shoe because now that I've broken them in I find all the pain is gone (for the most part) and I can actually comfortably stand ALL day (with barely a break) between 2 jobs. No more having to sit down or collapse between shifts! It's amazing. I've been in restaurants for 7 years and I've never been able to find a shoe like this. I have no idea how or why it works but it does! I can't wait until they're really, really broken in and beyond perfect.
I bought these for my clinical nursing program. So far, so good. They take some getting used to, as they wear more like a clog than a shoe. Your heel is made to slide in and out of the shoe. I thought this may cause blisters when someone told me, but in fact - they are super comfy!
I thought they would be wonderful based on all the reviews including my friends'. They were awful. Super uncomfortable and sized smaller than your actual size and too stiff. Disappointed. Glad I can return them to Amazon.
It is a different type of feeling than what you are probably used to. It takes a while to become accustomed to the way the shoe fits. As soon as you get past this first bump in the road, the shoes always feel wonderful and I wear them until I get holes in them LOL.
These shoes are supposed to be wide width but are to narrow for me to wear all day. I bought these with the thought of all day wear. I'm going to keep looking. I like the style but it needs to be wider.
Here's how these are supposed to fit.Toe box: your big toe is not supposed to touch the toe box.Arch: the top of your foot should be snug, but not pinched. You should be able to wiggle your entire foot without the top of the foot moving much.Heel: the shoe should move entirely off of the heel when in motion. If you have never worn Danskos, go get sized!!These are true to size. I'm a 9/9.5 and mine fit perfectly.
I like the height the shoe gives me. Makes me feel like I'm wearing a pair of heels with my outfit; however, the shoe is hard and it hurts on the side of my feet. I really want to like this shoe and thought about purchasing another pair, but I'm not too sure. Maybe I should try ordering wide the next time. I normally wear a size 10, but I had to send the 10 back and purchase an 11.
True to size and comfortable as always!!!
