I have bought Dansko clogs, but this is my first shoe. The fit wraps your foot in comfort yet feels firm and supportive. The leather is softer than it appears to be around your arch and the top of your foot. Nicely pleasant wrap and there is 'give' to slip your foot into the shoe. I have a high arch and thought I would not be able to get my foot in, but the elastic gore was enough to get my foot in and hold it in well. Very pleased with the fit! Thank you Dansko! After only a month one heel collapsed. It’s rubber on the outside and hard block inside. In one heel the solid block on the inside was defective, too small and now I was walking on rubber part that gave way with every step. Other heel is good. I own a lot of Dansko clogs and love them, enjoyed them for years. This pair I bought first time for work to wear with suits. It’s so unlike Dansko for such a poor quality on the shoes. I cannot return it now, so very expensive shoes are now useless.
The shoes I ordered were the ones I ordered and the size I ordered. But perhaps this is the manufacturer's fault -- they were huge! I told my sister that I felt like I was walking around in our father's shoes, like I did as a child. Back they go...
