The Dansko Men's XP 2.0 Black Clog truly shines when it comes to providing unparalleled comfort and support for all-day wear. The incorporation of the lightweight EVA midsole significantly reduces foot fatigue, which is a crucial aspect for anyone on their feet for extended periods, such as healthcare workers and restaurant staff. Furthermore, the padded instep collar adds an enjoyable layer of softness, making each step feel cushioned.
A standout feature of these clogs is their roomy toe box. This design allows your toes to spread naturally without feeling cramped, which can often be an issue with standard clogs. When you combine this with the arch support from the removable footbed, it’s clear why this clog is favored by many professionals who prioritize comfort.
From a safety perspective, the slip-resistant outsole provides confidence when walking on slick surfaces, adding another layer of practicality to the shoe's overall design. Moreover, the 100% leather construction not only looks great but also ensures that these clogs will withstand daily wear and tear.
However, potential buyers should note that some users have reported needing a brief break-in period before achieving optimal comfort. Additionally, those who typically require wider sizes might find the fit too snug.

I’ve tried a lot of shoes. I calculated that I’ve spent over $800us trying to find the perfect kitchen shoe. These are definitely it and well worth the price.Order slightly above your normal shoe size.Your feet will thank you. They take a bit getting used to and time to break in but it’s well worth it. Wear them around the house and out doing errands for a bit before a night working on the line. They are the best!I’ve done the crocs and the super birki, profi birki, bostons, MISE (good grief; those suck!), Birkenstock Kay (those are pretty good), but these XP 2.0 are the best!Comfortable and sticky on the floor. Much more that anything aforementioned.Be sure to get the XP 2.0. They are the sticky icky! No sliding around in these. Be careful!
Medical student in third year rotations, and I was tired of my feet hurting. Between rounds, OR time, clinic, I was in my feet non-stop. I’ve always worn boots, OnCoulds, and recently, Hokas. The OnClouds and Hokas are great but the foam just isn’t designed to stand up to long lengths of time in your feet, and because it’s not very dense, it gives out too quickly.I’ve always thought these clogs were pretty ugly, but I was to the point I didn’t care. Honestly instant love. They footbed is dense and heavy, which initially seems like it may be uncomfortable, but as you wear them they soften some but still provide incredible support. I’m sold. This review was NOT sponsored and I paid full price for my Danskos.
I have flat feet and the sole part is wonderful, but the top of the foot is tight (I wish there was a wide foot size and the top wasn't so tight). This is my 5th pair and they're usually very comfortable and durable.
Shoes are SO COMFORTABLE. The water resistance is great and the arch support has been unmatched. But for slip resistant work clogs that cost $150 you would expect them to last more than 4 1/2 months. Have ordered slip resistant shoes for over 20 years from multiple sellers and the cheaper ones have the outsole, tongue or insole fail well before the treads. Dansko had been highly recommended by several coworkers, etc. but, I’ve never had the treads wear out this quickly. Have had several pairs from shoes for crews of equal or lesser price last more than twice as long. Very disappointed as Zappos simply told me to contact Amazon and Amazon just states it is past their return or exchange window. Save your money and go get slip resistant shoes from shoes for crews or elsewhere. Dansko casual clogs might last but work shoes don’t.
I have been a Dansko fan for about 15year. I have had plenty of pairs starting with the originals. I was happy when the 2.0 came out. I enjoyed the first pair for about two years. My second pair last for around a year. This most recent pair failed after just three months. Here is the problem. These shoes are made to be lighter then the original Dansko clog. In order to get that savings in weight the materials used to build them are not as high quality. The leather is thinner and the sole is mostly a dense foam. The nails that hold the leather to the sole start to work themselves out after about six months. The nose of one shoe collapsed on this last pair and it rubbed on my toes. It was very uncomfortable and could not be fixed. I hade to bite the bullet and invest another $150 after just three months. The original Dansko clogs are a much better value for the premium price. They last longer and give more support. After three pairs of 2.0 and countless hours of standing and walking my opinion is. Stick with the originals. These 2.0 clogs are very nice out of the box but don't stand up to the daily abuse of a busy kitchen. This is just my opinion
The 2.0 version has a softer soul. This is my 2nd pair, great for long hours on your feet.
They slip on/off easily, are very comfortable, and good for walking short to medium distances.
I can't accurately describe how wonderful these clogs are, I literally can't wait to come home and wear them after work. Since rupturing my achilles tendon last year, I avoid walking barefoot and the support and comfort these clogs provide is just amazing. Buy them!
