I love these sandals. So comfortable; no blisters when breaking them in! It's true, Danskos have changed a bit; I read that they run longer, so I went down a size than what I had been buying, to the size Amazon recommended. The length is perfect! I have a bunion on my right foot, and the fact that I can customize the straps because of the velcro, especially the toe area strap, is great. The metallic straps are very attractive. Yes, my first pair made funny little noises that seem to be air escaping from areas under the insert, but that has dissipated. They do have high arches, but I got used to that. I loved wearing them so much that I bought a second pair, same color to keep for nice. They are so sharp!
I received many compliments on this shoe style. What is amazing is the comfort! I can walk all day in them and they have good arch support. All the straps are adjustable to fit your foot perfectly. My normal size is 8 1/2 B, but an 8 was suggested. They fit was exact. Love this shoe. It’s worth the purchase.
Pros: I really like the style of these sandals (I got black). They are a cross between a clog on the bottom and trendy sandal with thicker straps on the top. The velcro accommodates a wide or narrow foot. I wear them with pants, jeans, skirts and dresses, and get lots of compliments on them! I wear them to work where I'm on my feet for 4-8 hours, and they are supportive and comfortable.Cons: I found the materials and make of these sandals a little challenging, and it seems like Dansko's quality has gone downhill in recent years. The leather was really stiff at first - I have never experienced that in a decade of buying Danskos. I got small blisters on my toes while breaking these in - another thing I've never experienced in Danskos, there's never a break in process! Lastly there is much less arch support than I expected from a pair of Danskos, and when breaking these in air pockets between my high arch and the footbed made... um... embarrassing sounds... which eventually went away as the shoes formed to my feet.
I love these super comfortable, great fitting, attractive ladies black, high sandals with deep heel bed, velcro closure and solid, shank-imbedded soles. Their price for Black Friday @ Amazon was fantastic and I could not be happier. Thank you Amazon❣️
I’ve been looking for some shoes that offer arch support without looking like something my grandma would wear. Needless to say, this has been a challenge.This particular style has a cute and trendy heel and is fully adjustable on top. I have an oddly wide part of my foot which often makes fit a problem.This pair of shoes met all my needs including high comfort level for long periods of standing or walking. Highly recommend.
It looks like it has buckles, but they’re actually Velcro
These are so cute, neutral enough to wear with almost anything, great with jeans or a dress. The three customizable straps are perfect for my finicky feet. I have wide feet, high arches, high instep, and am prone to blisters. These straps customize so well, not just size but I can close at an angle to get a perfect fit. Cushioned and supportive. Makes me remember how much I love Dansko! I look forward to seeing how these hold up in the wild and how they wear over time.
