I teach and I'm On My Feet hours every day.... oh my goodness, these shoes are such an asset... they are light, extremely comfortable and have a strong Arch ....the toe bed is wide and the shoes go with any outfit..... I plan to wear them all winter long..... I believe the shoes are a must for anybody who is on their feet all day........... although, be very careful I also bought a pair in red that were very similar but were extremely uncomfortable and Amazon would not take them back because they were from an outside vendor.....
I've been wearing Birkenstocks (now exclusively the vegan leather style) for many years and these are just as comfortable and hard wearing. I can walk miles in these with no discomfort. I can even ride my bike without feeling that I am going to lose them getting on or off. They have great arch support and the adjustable straps help to get the perfect fit. I originally ordered these for a beach trip and now find myself wearing them on a daily basis everywhere and after 3 months I see no signs of wear and tear. I'm just sorry to see cold weather coming so I will be confined towering them indoors til spring. Will be ordering another pair to keep as a spare just in case they are discontinued for some insane reason. (Sometimes my luck after finding something I love!)
This is such a comfortable shoe.
Just what I was looking for in a comfortable summer sandal. I actually wear a thin socklet with sandals, indoors, of course and this makes the Kandi style even more wearable and lets my foot breathe. The shoe is lighter than my other Dansko shoes, feather light, but it doesn't crush down with your weight. It supports. Great for people with heel pain. I bought the 7 1/2 range and it's a little large. I might could use the smaller size next time. Still, the straps tighten enough to make the shoe snug and, lovely feature, doesn't hurt my bunion.
I want to love these, because they are Dansko and nice looking and comfortable - for the first hour or so, but the straps rub the top of my toes and blister them, and the synthetic footbed makes my feet perspire, which creates friction, which irritates the bottom of my feet, and my feet and legs and lower back tire out and hurt. Not my normal response to wearing Dansko shoes. Not by a long shot. Maybe in time they will become more comfortable. I hope so… and, thankfully, by the end of summer they have shaped up nicely and feel comfortable. Yay.After a break in period, they are much better
But I found them to be very uncomfortable. The straps made them too loose and when I tightened them, too tight. Back they had to go. I ordered 7.5-8, my usual size is an 8 medium. The length was fine but I knew they wouldn’t work for my wonky feet.
I purchased these sandals because I am tired of achy, swollen feet and sore knees and hips at the end of the day. Every other pair of summer sandals and shoes left me feeling similar levels of discomfort, then I found the Dansko Kandis. I have no problem spending the extra money, IF the product lives up to the promise. I'm happy to share that these sandals are worth the price. They are adjustable to fit my feet that swell and retract given whatever the day may bring. They provide out-of-the-box comfort, and the support that my knees and hips need to play with my two-year-old grandson all day and into the late evening. They are not dressy sandals, but I feel comfortable wearing them with both casual summer clothes and dress pants and blouses for church. I am hopeful that they will endure a couple of summers. I anticipate purchasing more Danskos for my return to the classroom in the fall.
I got these to wear around the house. My other Dansko clogs are very comfortable and my feet (and knees and hips) feel great after wearing any of them. I'm in the house much more than I'm away from it these days and I don't like wearing "outdoor" shoes inside.I've tried so many pairs of slippers but my feet (and knees and hips!) would always ache at the end of the day. Reviews of these sandals convinced me to try them and I'm so glad I did! I'm now pain-free instead of dealing with sore feet, stiff knees, and achy hips when I go to bed.
