These were almost perfect. The cushioning is amazing, as is the arch support, and there's just enough of a heel to not be completely flat, which I can no longer wear. The size is pretty true; maybe just a tiny bit smaller than some of the other Danskos I have but not enough to feel like a different size. The velcro closure is a definite plus - the straps are very adjustable. Unfortunately, even with all that, the straps hit the top of my feet in the wrong places and were too painful where they crossed surgery scars. I had to return the shoes but am hopeful Dansko introduces more styles with this same footbed because that part is soooo cozy.
I usually find Danskos to be too firm and heavy, but not these! They are a little stiff at first, but I found myself choosing them out of the lineup day after day, and they softened some and molded to my feet. So comfortable. I wore them all summer. I wear a size 9 to 9.5 and the 40s are perfect on me.
Love the shoe style and color. The only problem was the size. I usually wear a 38 in Dansko but that was way too big in the Dayna, so I got a 37 which fit perfectly. These look like Birkenstocks but are much more comfortable because they don't have that ridge thing by my toes.
Best feature is the arch support. Downside:The edges have a slight up turn and it does produce callouses on my big toes.
The shoes give great support, needed to break in & were good after a few days. The light gray color goes with most casual clothing. I wear these regularly, having had them a few weeks.I like the adjustable velcro straps that have the buckle look. I have a bunion on my right foot & so far, no pain.
I really, really wanted these to work and I’m so bummed to return these sandals. They look great, feel good, and fit my wide forefoot well. Unfortunately, they would not stay on my feet when I walked! I tried adjusting the straps, but nothing worked. I have a very high arch, so maybe that was the problem. I’d love to see this style with a heel strap.
Love these sandals! They were very comfortable from day one! They seem to mold to your feet, however they feel sturdier and more supportive than my other sandals of a different brand. I liked them so much that I went back for another color and have been wearing them all summer. I would recommend these sandals, especially if you have problematic feet.
Dansko makes great shoes for support. I already had this shoe in black and just added a new fun color! I have suffered from plantar fasciitis and Dansko shoes have made a huge difference in keeping my feet from new flare ups/injury!
