2023.12.07 - Men's Crevo HERC Black Boot - $68.40This is my 4th pair of Crevo boots. So far, my Crevos have been really, really good; evidenced by my buying 4 pair.• The size is true.• There is a long toe box but that is just the style.• The boot is on the narrow side of the range and I almost sent them back.• The soles seem cheap compared to my other Crevos.• The side zipper is a bit rough to zip.• The boot leather is pretty stiff.The leather (and suede heal patch) appear to be excellent quality and the look of the boot is great. They are stiff but it may be that they just need to be broken in some, like really good leather does. Hopefully the zipper will break in too.I will let yall know more later.
The shoe itself was very comfortable. The issue I have was the rubber on the heels fell off. The first one fell off, but I noticed it, retrieved the pad, and Shoo-Gooed it back on. The second one fell off shortly thereafter. I am having a cobbler replace the pad for nearly the price of the shoe; as I said, the shoe was very comfortable, so I will pay for the repair.Finding a good cobbler these days is becoming a difficult task.
These are sharp and well constructed. Solid sole with rubber tread. They aren’t as comfortable as my Aldo boots that are the similar style but I couldn’t get the Aldo in black.
This style of Crevo seems smaller , tighter , than other Crevo models. Narrower toe. Not for me , I prefer Camden model.
