These boots are comfortable right out of the box.The size(11 wide) was a perfect fit. Columbia really pimps the fact that these boots are waterproof (not sure about that yet) when they should be talking about the comfort and fit are outstanding.That's right,I said it...OUTSTANDING.The tread is aggressive and made for the trail or lack of a trail in general.The only downside I can see (maybe) is that these type of laces tend to come untied alot. But that's a problem I'm not even sure exists yetAll in all,a great purchase.
These boots are very comfortable. 8 hrs on my feet and not one complaint about the comfort. Perfect fit to.
He has had surgery on both feet and these are his go to shoe/boot. Waterproof, comfortable after long hours on his feet and they hold up amd don't fall apart. He is rough on his shoes- these are the first pair we've found that hold up to his job and I continue to buy them every couple years- not because the boot wear out but because he's a painted and ends up with 10000 layers of paint on them so I choose to replace. Ships fast and theure the best!
I have used these boots in the water, the cold, and in the sun. They have a good grip are well insulated and keep your feet dry. I don't believe they are heavy and I don't get tired in them. Off course this is only my opinion and experience. I enjoy them immensely and I love the dark black color that I enjoy.
Shoes fit to size, did wonders at Mt.Titlis on snow and it really keeps my feet dry. Very comfortable.
For the past 8 years I’ve worn Solomon XA mids. Which were awesome. I recently wore my other pair out and needed a replacement. I went to a bunch of shoe stores to try something new. As soon I I tried these boots on at the store I fell in love with them. Came home and ordered them. 1/3 the price of Solomon’s, more comfortable, Light weight, sticky sole and water resistant. So far only way I’d be happier is if they were OD green or desert tan. I’ve worn them on two 4 day operations so far and have not been disappointed. I will update to this for how long they hold up for.
