great shoes fit just right and look good
Very comfortable shoes.
Did not fit as expected
I was very surprised by the hefty weight of these shoes. They almost feel like heavy boots. They were way too narrow. I would have to order a wide which I have ever done in any shoe. I also found that back is quite shallow resulting in the feeling that my heel was not seated very well down into the shoe. I always dreamed of Cole Haan as being the ultimate show, but after this and a similar bad fit form the Pinch Loafer I have gotten over the Ora.
I'm returning the shoes for two reasons. First, the heels are too wide which, in a loafer, means that my foot rises out of the shoe with each step. My heels are slightly narrow. The heels of the shoes are considerably wide. But if you have very wide heels, you'll like it. Second, the shoes can almost be called ugly. "Unattractive" is perhaps a better choice. I knew from the photo in the ad that they weren't great-looking, but I liked the price for my size. When the shoes arrived, they looked even worse in person. I should add that the quality (materials and construction) of the shoes is good.
