I ordered the navy boots. The color is very dark, but still definitely blue. Loved the flat sole. Gives a secure footing while still looking great. I usually wear a size 9 with an insole insert. Boots fit perfectly with my inserts. Very comfortable. I ordered the wide calf only because I like to tuck my jeans inside. Still gaps a little at the top but looks ok. I also like the slightly tapered toe. This makes them look ‘dressier’ rather than ‘clunkier’. Also like the “buckle detail” on the sides - simply decorative but nice. I did notice, however, that the quality of this suede is not as soft as a similar pair of slouch boots I purchased a few years ago that were a different brand. However I would recommend these boots. Very satisfied with the look and quality.
I live in South Florida. How many times do you think I need high boots? Well, these are perfect. I don't wear them often, but they are comfortable (no heel), fit me well and they look great. Hope to have them for many more years.
These are stylish and keep me warm. Not much of a tread, so I would not recommend them in snow/ice.
These boots look great but the bottoms are slick! I thought they were more grippy from looking at the pictures, but they're not. They are lightweight and pretty comfortable for a couple of hours. I plan to put a cushioned insole to help me wear them longer.
Ordered these as a replacement for a pair of worn out White Mountain boots and these did not disappoint.Use them for cold weather and they keep me warm!
If you order NAVY you are going to get a steel blueish/ grey.
I expected them to be more like the picture. Taller, form fitting. I got a 9 wide. I like the sole because it's flat but the calf part is pretty overly roomy. I'm only keeping them because I like to wear jeans and leg warmers so it'll give me plenty of room but no way I'd be able to just wear them with a dress or something because it will look dumb how floppy they are. Luckily I only paid $13 for them because I caught a sale or they'd be getting returned. I can fit my arm in the calf area and they only go up a little over halfway on my calf. I don't think they look like the picture at all. Going to order soda slouch boots next time because they're closer to what I wanted compared to these.
My shoe size is typically an 8.5 or 9 (8.5 in sandals & sneakers and 9 in heels & boots). These boots are available in standard or wide calf sizes, I ordered an 8.5 and 9 (both in standard) and decided to keep the 8.5, they fit well throughout my foot and calf although I won't be able to wear thick socks with them. My feet are regular width and my calves are 16". I'm 5'7" and the boots reach up to about 3" below my knees. They are a true navy blue color and appear to be well made. The boot shaft has plenty of stretch-ability...there is an elastic notch near the zipper and also the four small straps at the decorative studs are elastic and stretch, as well. A little pricey but overall a nice pair of boots.
