I shouldn’t have been surprised at how instantly comfortable these were since Clark’s have always worked for me. But ordering shoes online can be difficult. Fortunately this was a breeze. I’m normally a size 7.5 with an occasional half up or down. These fit perfectly at 7.5. All three straps easily adjust tightness with Velcro. Great arch support and cushion. Looks great and feels great.
I have very fussy feet after having neuroma surgery years ago- there are very few shoes I can wear without specific orthotics, which typically don't work in sandals. My feet are also very narrow and chafe easily, so I usually just avoid sandals. However, I needed some sandals to wear with a sun dress, so I thought I'd see if these could work without my orthotics. And they do!! I wish they had more arch support, but overall I really like them. They're made well and light-weight, and I like the velcro straps so I can adjust them to fit perfectly. And, they don't rub on my feet at all. I would definitely recommend these!
Ordinarily don't spend this much for a pair of summer sandals, but these were worth it. Once the velcro straps were adjusted for my feet, I loved them! Can be worn all day in comfort (though not for hiking!) and are stylish as well. Fits to size. Well-made. I'd buy them again.
No slipping off your foot, soft cushioning insoles, well made! I bought a 6.5wide in white & love them. Thinking of buying more. They don't rub on my bunions or squish my toes.
Perfect for indoor use or short duration outdoor use on flat, dry non-slippery surfaces In my experience, Clark's don't last long, as uppers are glued, rather than stitched to sole, but they are comfy, so I keep buying more. First experience with this style, and I like it more than some of the other Clark's slip on sandals I have.

Background: Two months ago I had foot surgery to shave down a large heel spur on the back of my heel, not the bottom of my foot, that was also tearing up my Achilles tendon. I was released from the medical boot and discovered I could not wear any of the shoes in my closet and it would be awhile before I could handle anything touching my heel so began the search for open back shoes without heel or ankle straps but would remain secure on my feet.Luckily, we are heading into summer and I needed new sandles anyway so I bought 3 pair (different brands). I bought black, off white, and wanted gray but that color option was a real challenge so blue was another color choice that comes in handy...thinking navy blue. Well, I finally stumbled onto the Clarke Leisa sandals and really liked the denim blue and they were on sale in my size...score!The shoes: Fit was true to size and I love the fact the upper leather straps are customizable; this adjustability is perfect as my left foot swells a lot as I am still slowly increasing my walking distance. When swollen and I have to loosen the straps, the velcro does show a bit, which is annoying but not glaringly obvious as the color of the velcro is near to the leather color.Comfort: I have to say, out of all 3 pair, these Clarke's are the most comfortable out of the box. That is saying something as the other 2 pair are comfortable enough but the leather on this shoe just feel like slippers to me yet are far more secure on my foot than any slipper I have had. As for support, I cannot judge as my recent surgery prevents any long standing or walking any distance.Color: The denim blue does indeed look like picture above....in some light. Then, in different lighting they are decidedly gray in color. I love them! So, I got what I wanted afterall...both blue or gray sandals that will always go with any Jean outfit. Just be warned that if you hate gray, this denim color may not be for you.
This brand fits my feet perfectly. I love the amount of padding of the foot bedding but the all time best part of them is that they are ADJUSTABLE and the shape of them is more attractive than a lot of other brands , they don’t look like Duck Feet but more Dressy Causal . I really love them . Another thing I Love is…… The Try Before You Buy from Amazon !!!! It is such a Plus to NOT have the charge on your bill if you don’t keep the item !!!
