These shoes are well made for walking and all day wear. They are leather and professionally constructed. The inside is smooth (no jabs from ridiculous inside stitching or insoles like some brands). The sizing is accurate (not too narrow for your toes and the almond shape is appropriate). The platform is discreet (great for daytime or any time) and takes the "edge" off the high heel (in other words your feet are NOT at a steeply slanted angle from heel to toe making them more comfortable for longer time). I bought the size 6 Wide which in Clarks fits me perfectly. The soles are very practical and grip the floor properly (rubber-ish) and you definitely do not feel like you're going to slip. You can stride confidently down the hall, up the steps or along the street and also survive wet pavements. I highly recommend Clarks as a brand overall as they make classical, well made shoes.
The shoes is comfortable, had a good grid and support. The look is ok. The reason I return is becuase it is too large for my narrow feet.
I work in television and keep heels at work for show time. I’m on air for two hours a day and much of that time is standing so I needed a heel that is cute but also comfortable. I’m a size 9 but those were too small. I reordered a size 9 1/2 and they fit great. Comes up just a tiny bit higher than I’d prefer around the ankle but I’m sure it will break in, in time. I order normal width because I think overall my foot is average to narrow but I do have bunions. These heels have a nice cushion which supports them well. I love this color too! I have been looking for pumps like this for so long and finally think I scored!!!!
The shoes are very cute, but really small! I usually wear between a size 7.5-8 (7.5 dress shoes and 8 tennis shoes). I have several pairs of Clarks in size 8 that are too big so when I read reviews I specifically decided to go with a size 8 thinking a size 8 would fit perfectly. I could barely squeeze my foot in the size 8 and definitely would be in pain if I kept them. I’m not sure whether to size up to 8.5 or 9, but will purchase the same pair in a bigger size. They seemed like they would be really comfortable in the correct size and are very professional looking and stylish!
I really wanted to like these. I tried them on at home and although they were the right height and was able to walk in them, they were just too snug in the toe area so I had to return them.
I’m 66 yrs old and don’t wear heals that often but if I have a special occasion these are the shoes. They are so comfortable. They fit true to size.
I did not anticipate the little silver details but it was a pleasant surprise. These pumps are comfortable to walk in. I'm a teacher, and I an able to wear these all day long without ever needing to take them off. They surely last me for a while. I plan to buy other colours. Worth every penny.
initial report - awesome comfort. And gorgeous.After 3 hours of wearing - tight fit. Feels more like a 7 than an 8 after walking on them for a while.I have 3 of these shoes in different color/style. One is the same in black, and the other is the bootie in red. all three are in size 8. The black one is more comfortable than this one. I'm not sure why. They feel bigger. The booties are even more comfortable. I was wearing them for 8 hours and standing up half the time, but didn't feel any pain all day in the booties.So I'm not sure what's going on with size. Maybe they'll get better as I wear them in.
