Attractive and clearly durable shoes, as Clarks tend to be. Additionally, they are quite comfortable for me. I usually wear a 7M, and that size fits me perfectly in this shoe.The toe box is deep enough for comfort, even with my fat big toe. I was dismayed at how stiff the toe box was when I opened the shoe box but I wore these twice for several hours walking each time and can tell you that the toe depth (from top to sole) is deep enough for me.As for width, I measure a "C" width. At times B (medium) width is too tight. Wide shoes are always too wide. The width fits me well. No "break in" time needed.Length- fit as expected.Heel- the heel is a little loose on me. This is often the case and I always have those little suede heel things to put in the heel of the shoe. I have not done that yet with these as I was wearing thicker socks. I will probably have to do that with footies or thin socks. The heel is also a little stiff. I did not have any chafing or discomfort, but I did notice it when I first put these on.Instep- nothing to worry about here- the instep is open. Even if you have a high instep, these should be fine.The shoe is well made. No odd stitching. Tassels were protected by a paper wedge and are attached well.As I said, I have already walked in these for a few hours. They were comfortable. There is plenty of padding in the heel, arch, toe area. Personally, I do not believe in the concept of breaking in shoes. If they don't fit and feel comfortable from the start, they go back. I am KEEPING these shoes. They are a great deal- solid leather shoes for the price of a pair of polyester fabric ballet flats. I paid about $42.
This shoe is so comfortable and fits well
Its fairly comfortable, but great quality.
Fit is excellent, arch support is good, heel is not very high so I can wear these immediately, no need to get used to them. My back seems to be more sensitive, after having bilateral knee replacements (not in a good way). Can no longer tolerate heels more than 1" in height. These fit the bill, just what you expect from Clark's.
Great shoes very comfortable
These shoes would have been very comfortable if not for the fact that it rubs the top of the heel all day. All other parts of the shoe are comfortable and well-made so far as I can tell, so it's a real shame. I'll see if they loosen up after a month or so of wears. If not, this review shall stand.

I love Clark's shoes but had to send them back because they sent the wrong size..
