Clarks Women's Adriel Viola Dress Pump, Black Leather, 7 M US Review

These shoes are amazingly comfortable for a heel this height. I’ve had foot surgery on one of my feet, and the days of high heels have been behind me. After reading reviews on these, I decided to take a chance. clarks have been working out as a good shoe choice for me. These are no exception. First of all, they’re good looking. Pretty and stylish. Also very versatile. Good quality. And actually comfortable and wearable! Would I wear these if I was going to be doing a lot of walking? No, I wouldn’t take that chance. But a day at the office or for special occasion shoes, absolutely.

Clark's is a good brand and these didn't disappoint. Very nice looking pump and the heel's not too high. Comfortable and nice padding in the sole. I wear a size 8 with a narrow foot. I would buy these again.

A little close, however, it’s a comfortable shoe and sturdy.

I have 2 pairs of the predecessor of this pump (Clarks Brier Dolly) in a size 9 and I LOVE them. Now that they are discontinued, I was looking for something similar. I bought the Adriel Voila pumps in a size 9 and was very disappointed that they didn’t fit like my other Clarks pumps. They were definitely too small and my pinky toes were shoved into the side of the toe boxes. Thanks to Amazons awesome return policy, I was able to return for a half size up... lo and behold, the 9.5 fit PERFECTLY. I would recommend sizing up a half size or buying both your normal size and a half size up and seeing how they fit. As for the day to day wear of these pumps, they are AMAZINGLY comfortable. I do a lot of running around during my workday: at the office, in and out of my car, around different facilities, and I always take the stairs. These shoes hold up and don’t hurt my feet during my hectic day, even up and down 3-5 flights of stairs several times a day! The platform helps to make the heel height more manageable and the rubber sole prevents slippage - I’ll never understand why so many companies make pumps with such slippery soles, it’s just not practical. Also, it’s difficult to see from the pictures, but there is padding at the heel of the shoe, where your Achilles tendon contacts the shoe. This is often a point of pain for some high heel wearers so the cushioning definitely helps prevent that. There are only 2 small things I’d like to see with the next iteration of this shoe: 1) I would prefer the platform be hidden and 2) MORE COLORS! I’d buy 10 pairs of this pump if I could get some different colors and textures.

OK, so I'm almost seventy, but still like a NICE looking heel for certain dressy occasions. BUT they have to be WEARABLE. As in I want to be able to wear them at least four or five hours and to be able to stand in them!HERE ARE MY PROS AND A COUPLE CAVEATS for the 8.5 BLACK PATENT AND THE REGULAR BLACK LEATHER (GOT BOTH :-))PROS:QUALITY - REALLY like the quality of these. They came from ZAPPO'S, so can't speak to what you may get from a different vendor. INSIDE is great, just enough cushion and support.PRICE - I got these when they were about forty bucks, GREAT DEAL for CLARK'S and for my one DRESSY pair of heels. QUALITY, LOOKS AND GREAT PRICE.LOOKS - OK I didn't think THIS was possible. Because of the small platform at the front, for a heel that is this high, these are COMFY and easy to wear. I don't feel I am TOTTERING on them. I LOVE they don't look like old lady heels! THESE would be great for any special occasion you needed something a bit dressy.FIT - I found these true to size, I wear an 8.5 in just about anything but flip flops, but GET READY FOR A COUPLE CAVEATS AND SOME ADVICE BELOW!CAVEATS AND ADVICE for those of you who may have ANY foot issues:I have bunions. MODERATE, but DEFINITELY THERE. AND I broke my toe next to my big toe, so it sticks UP a bit and can rub on just about any pair of shoes or boots so I put a SILICONE TOE SLEEVE ON IT (otherwise it will rub and bleed). Those silicone toe sleeves are GREAT if you have a toe or toes that stick up from being broken, corns and VARIOUS VENDORS sell on AMAZON.IN SPITE of the bunions, THIS SHOE FITS (and I didn't get a WIDE, just a regular 8.5). NOW, the toe that sticks UP, NO SHOE can really accommodate that, that's where the silicone toe sleeve comes in to keep it from rubbing.BLACK PATENT isn't QUITE as comfy as the regular leather and won't stretch like regular leather, but do a wee bit (FYI, for the PATENTS, if you put them on and put your hair dryer on LOWEST WARM setting and run back and forth, again on lowest WARM setting, it softens them up and helps stretch a bit). I THOUGHT of trying these in a wide, but that wouldn't really help the toe that sticks up, so staying with the regular 8.5. IN SPITE of some toe issues, I have a fairly narrow foot. YOU MAY WISH to try a wide and the regular and send back whichever one doesn't work.OVERALL, I GIVE THIS A RESOUNDING FIVE! At my age, with my foot issues, to be able to WEAR this shoe (not sure I would want to WALK IN IT FOR HOURS, but that goes for MOST FLATS AND HEELS) and not be in pain? To get this quality at this price?IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NICE, YET COMFY, DRESS SHOE, TRY IT. You can also return them and I can't imagine any heel this high being as comfortable as these are!

True to size. Cute black pump. They are comfortable at the bottom, my feet/heels didn't hurt, however, the top edge of the shoe rubbed the top of my foot above my big toe while I walked so my skin is a little raw. I had to change out of them the last half of my work day. They're synthetic, so they probably won't stretch, so I wouldn't wear these all day/at work, walking around a lot, etc because of the top.

I love these pumps. They are the perfect black pump. Height is great! I have a super narrow foot, so they are a touch big, but not enough for me to say to size down. My daughter loved them also, so I ordered her a pair too!

I bought this shoes for my wife and she loves the look and fit of the shoes. This a very good shoes.
