When it comes to outdoor footwear, comfort is crucial, and the Clarks Men's Grove Zip Waterproof Ankle Boot excels in this area. The removable Ortholite® footbed not only wicks away moisture but also provides cushioning that dulls the impact of each step, making long walks or hikes more enjoyable.
The boot's waterproof feature is particularly noteworthy. Whether you're trekking through muddy trails or facing unexpected rain showers, these boots ensure your feet stay dry and comfortable. Additionally, the robust rubber outsole offers reliable grip, enhancing safety on slippery grounds.
One of the standout aspects of these boots is their ease of use. With a zipper on the side, you can effortlessly slip them on and off, making them a practical choice for active individuals. However, be prepared for a slight break-in period, as some users have reported initial stiffness.
While the stylish black leather finish allows these boots to transition seamlessly from outdoor adventures to casual outings, the limited color options may not cater to everyone’s tastes.
Overall, the Clarks Men's Grove Zip Waterproof Ankle Boot combines style, comfort, and practicality, making it an excellent choice for those seeking reliable footwear for outdoor excursions.

I bought this for a light duty work boot; easy on/off with comfort and waterproofing being equally important. This may only be my second purchase of Clark's brand shoes but I have been very impressed with the quality both times.
These are beautifully made good looking shoes but run very small. Hubby has a wide foot, normal size11.5 W and the 12 was super tight plus it took some work getting his foot inside. Wish this came in Wide!
My shoe size is 11 narrow. If you have a slim foot and have difficulty finding footwear that does not want to slip off your foot as you walk, then this is the boot for you. It fits my foot like a glove without irritation. However, where the top of the boot meets the lower leg requires a walking break-in period; it's a bit stiff and may rub. I noticed this only on the left boot but not the right. Well-made and definitely waterproof. This would make a good all weather motorcycle riding boot, also providing protection to the ankles. I would definitely purchase again but be aware of the break-in period. At first I could only use for 1/2 hour walks until such time that where the top of the boot meets the left leg broke in and became more flexible. When new, you can facilitate the break-in period by walking in the boots without pulling the zipper close. Eventually the top of the boot where it meets the leg becomes more flexible.
Nice design and finish, but if your feet have a high bridge, the zipper won't close smoothy and becomes a very tight fit.
My last pair of zip up Clark boots lasted until now and I can still wear them now after many years. This last pair that I returned was poorly made. The zipper broke off in the package before I even got it Not sure I will ever trust Clark again . The zipper was the most important working part and hard to repair.
Clark boots are expensive but do last a long time.
Comfortable , waterproof boots!
Ok, I was hoping deeply to like these stylish boots from Clark. I purchased a front zipper boot several years ago (from Clarks) and liked them because they were easy to get on, comfortable, warm and dry. So when I was shopping for replacements, this boot looked great. Here’s the issue. The stretchable neck (under the zipper) is incredibly tight making the neck of the boot SO tight that I struggled to get my left foot in and with a big toe issue (of my own doing) on my right foot, it was a non-starter. If you’ve ever tried to jamb your feet into ski boots, having to contort them somewhat sideways in order to get them on, then you know how it will feel to try to put these boots on. And here’s the thing. The left boot that I was able to horse on felt great once it was on. Comfortable, roomy but firm. BUT THIS IS A ZIPPER boot and I am pretty sure that most people wanting a zipper boot want an easy on and easy off boot. THIS IS NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS. I am keeping them for 1 day in hopes that the upper material will loosen up and the contortion of putting them on will vanish, but I am not optimistic. A front zipper boot should be able to be put on while standing with little effort and I simply cannot see these boots making the cut. I supposed a wide might be easier to get on. But my feet aren’t wide. I suppose a bigger size might be easier to put on, but the size I ordered is my size and fit after the contortion work. I probably could have save myself the time had I read the first review that popped up when I was preparing to pen this review. It said, in less words, the same disappointing fact related to how hard it is to put this boot on. So I am not the only one. My search will continue.
