I wore these shoes during most of my youthful years of course they had the rubber sole not this sole, but it was like seeing an old friend again, they fit good, they look good and as I remember will only look better with some wear time. They even came with an extras pair of laces! Let's be honest, these Clark desert boots are pricey, but you get what you pay for and sometimes you just gotta treat yourself with the best. I'm not a paid reviewer, no favors exchanged, no merchandise offered, I just love Clark desert boots (as we called then growing up) .
Clarks material was good quality, I loved it
They go with anything, can be worn for any occasion and now they can be worn anywhere with the cleated soles on them straight out the box. I've worn desert boots since secondary school, my father also and his before him. It just is what it is; a comfortable, versatile, reasonably priced shoes when found for right price.Received brand new, extra laces and tag with that clarks leather smell. As an avid clarks shoes wearer and owner from the clarks guard mali to the clarks desert trooper, the clarks desert rock is yet another welcomed, versatile pair to my collection. The last pair of desert boots I owned was more than a decade ago and they lasted for 6 years before the crepe sole wore out completely. With the black and sand version now with cleated rubber soles, i can eagerly look forward to at least a decade of use with proper care for the suede, the soles will last forever.
It's a Clark's shoe, and if you went to purchase it then you know why, its nice
