These boots are so good!!!! The quality is amazing!
I was fairly disappointed in these boots. I'm a huge fan of black knee boots. I've had dozens of pairs over the years, so I feel I'm somewhat qualified to rate these the way I did. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the leather. It was so cheap looking. It had a very dull look and just didn't do anything for me - or my outfit. For the $120 I paid, I assumed they would be better looking and better quality. The second thing I didn't like was how they started slipping down throughout the day as I wore them. They looked incredible slouchy by the end of the day and that is certainly not the look I was going for. I usually love SE footwear but not these. I'm keeping them of course, but am taking them to the shoe hospital for a bath in black dye. I want them to be shiny in an attempt to make them look at least slightly better.
Looked good, but it bagged at my skinny ankles in the size 12 - Sam and Vince are a size 11 for me - I guess I just forgot. The boot might be a little forgiving in the top line of the calf.
