Great boot right out of the box. I have another pair from Chippewa , a boot like this but cap toe.and kind of teracota colored for a little dressier look. I just knew that I was gonna get a high quality boot when I ordered these. when I opened the box this pair looked like very high quality but I thought that they woul be hard to brerak in. I usually walk around the house with them and break them in. Against my own belief I decided to wear them to the DMV office to get my REAL ID. I walked all around at the center and wore them for about 5 hours with not a bit of worries or problems. I highly recomend this boot. RPM
I ordered the 11EE and they are a bit snug in width. Will probably stretch, and as these are summer boots I will be wearing thinner socks. Seem very well made, and although I haven’t put any miles on them yet they have been very comfortable around the house
Seemingly pretty decent boots but I was surprised to discover this model is now made in China. Unfortunate as I thought I was getting a quality USA-made boot. The laces on mine were over-long so I asked Chippewa for replacements in the proper size - was told they don’t have laces to send! Ok then. (PS the Chippewa site will only post positive reviews, I don’t think I like this conglomerate-owned version of the company.)
These boots are pricey for what they are..I have had 5 pair..I wear everyday I hated to SEE CHIPPEWA phase them out, big mistake their newer boot, are not the boots they where and DO NOT have the character these boots have after broken in and weathered..tough boots. Heal material little soft wears a little fast, tread grips well, leather tough, have cut though a boot oi8nce, leather used to be better quality in the past. It took a long time to get, but the seller did give long lead time.
