I will not buy another brand again, stiff at first (about a day for me) but get comfortable real quick. Awesome work boot, only negative is the laces suck, measure them and replace them immediately. The boot makes up for this and only downfall! I love chippewa and have been wearing them for 3+ years now and have never found a better boot, im over 50 and in construction working 50+ hrs a week so ive been through a few brands of boots, love chippewa and these 6" are the shortest ive bought so far, i usually buy the hodar 10" or so, and i cant be happier with this 6" sodar purchase (not sure on the boot model spellings, but i do love these boots)
This is my 2nd pair of boots i have bought and when i got these and tried them on i thought they were tight in the arch of my foot but when wearing them for an hour they felt very good as i need the arch support. they are built with very good leather and i like the composite toe protector. i gave it a 4 of 5 star because of the lace hooks at the top, my 1st pair had larger ones to ty into and i really like those, but the boots seam very well built and i wear them all day for work.
Not my first pair, but probably my last pair. Fit is great. Feels like a sneaker as far as comfort; weight wise it's a boot.
Very comfortable boots. Laces only lasted about week before completed frayed. Oddly they smell like cat urine?! I read it has something to do with properties of the boot breaking down when wet? Not sure if that is true. I’m reaching out to the seller. Overall very happy with the boots. Just keeping in the corner of the garage when not wearing them.
