These boots are built with very high quality leather and quad stitched at the crucial seams. It took only two days of wearing them to be broken in, soft, supple and become my new 'work slippers'. These boots are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I really like the new Vibram sole design- wider lugs release dirt, mud and rocks more easily, and the rubber is just a bit softer so the traction is better on hard surfaces like smooth concrete and wood. I ordered the same size as what I buy in other popular boots, and they fit as expected- not too loose or tight- just perfect fit. They feel like an extension of my foot- not bulky or heavy at all.
