I've always been a Red Wing boots type of guy but I must say after trying a pair of these bad boys I will never go back. These boots are just amazing, very comfortable straight out of the box.I work 12 hour days 6 days a week out side in the Chicago cold and these boots keep my feet very warm in fact I had to stop wearing my wool socks with them. They seem like they are very rugged and well made, hasn't rained much but I do believe they will keep the water out. Overall these boots are well above what I expected and I think it's safe to say I am now a chippewa boots type of guy . Buy the boots you will not regret it.
Highly comfortable and highly durable. I've only had them a few days and the break-in has been very quick. You can tell the leather is quality by the thickness, softness and feel. I don't like that they aren't USA made, but there isn't much that is these days. They are made in China, but don't be fooled, these are quality built. Sizing was pretty accurate and ever so slightly smaller than my Danners, which is probably due to the insulation my Danners didn't have. For relatively cold environments, I would imagine an order one half size larger than standard sizing to accommodate for a nice, thick pair of socks should be plenty to keep the feet warm. All in all, I love them... and I'm extremely picky about what goes on my feet.
got delivered early, just as product was described. husband likes them says they are very stiff so taken a lil bit to break them in. right foot some discomfort... left foot great... will get more when i need new ones.
I purchase these boots very often for my job. These boots are more comfortable than what I have been wearing. The width is fantastic.
Yo. I work outside in all weather year-round. These are the best all-around boots I’ve found. On my third pair in 12 years. I am 6’2”, 210 lbs, wearing an 11 wide. Enjoy.
These are the best boots I've ever worked in, been wearing these for 7 years. Super comfortable, well stitched, good ankle support, and durable. The insulated ones are super warm but I prefer the uninsulated ones even in North Dakota in January. The laces that come with these boots are junk so replace them right out of the box or have replacements on hand.
Boots fit well just hoping they last as long as my first pair when they were made in the USA
This is my third pair, I average two to three years before I have to give up on them. That is in oil field applications. Most other boots I have might last 6 months. They are also the most comfortable with no break-in period. My wife gets mad because I wear them everywhere because they are so comfy. Highly recommended.
