When considering the Chippewa Men's 73101 8" Lace-To-Toe Logger Waterproof Boot, one of the standout features is its ability to keep moisture out thanks to its impeccable waterproof construction. The leather not only adds a classic aesthetic but also contributes to the overall durability of the boot.
Comfort is another critical aspect. The medium arch support coupled with removable orthotics means you can tailor the fit to your personal preference, which is an advantage if you're on your feet for extended periods. However, it's important to note that some users may find the initial break-in period a bit challenging, as the boots can feel stiff right out of the box.
Another key highlight is the heavy-duty rubber outsole. This feature is designed for those who require serious traction on uneven ground, making these boots perfect for logging, hiking, or any rugged outdoor activity. While they're heavier compared to some alternatives, this added weight translates into a more robust build that can handle tough conditions.
In summary, the Chippewa Men's 73101 boot offers a blend of style, comfort, and durability, making it a top choice for anyone seeking reliable outdoor footwear.

I've always been a Red Wing boots type of guy but I must say after trying a pair of these bad boys I will never go back. These boots are just amazing, very comfortable straight out of the box.I work 12 hour days 6 days a week out side in the Chicago cold and these boots keep my feet very warm in fact I had to stop wearing my wool socks with them. They seem like they are very rugged and well made, hasn't rained much but I do believe they will keep the water out. Overall these boots are well above what I expected and I think it's safe to say I am now a chippewa boots type of guy . Buy the boots you will not regret it.
Boots fit well just hoping they last as long as my first pair when they were made in the USA
Highly comfortable and highly durable. I've only had them a few days and the break-in has been very quick. You can tell the leather is quality by the thickness, softness and feel. I don't like that they aren't USA made, but there isn't much that is these days. They are made in China, but don't be fooled, these are quality built. Sizing was pretty accurate and ever so slightly smaller than my Danners, which is probably due to the insulation my Danners didn't have. For relatively cold environments, I would imagine an order one half size larger than standard sizing to accommodate for a nice, thick pair of socks should be plenty to keep the feet warm. All in all, I love them... and I'm extremely picky about what goes on my feet.
I purchase these boots very often for my job. These boots are more comfortable than what I have been wearing. The width is fantastic.
Yo. I work outside in all weather year-round. These are the best all-around boots I’ve found. On my third pair in 12 years. I am 6’2”, 210 lbs, wearing an 11 wide. Enjoy.
got delivered early, just as product was described. husband likes them says they are very stiff so taken a lil bit to break them in. right foot some discomfort... left foot great... will get more when i need new ones.
I've gone through 3 pairs of these boots over 5 years. I work for well drilling co. I'm on my feet 10-14hrs a day. In all conditions except snow. They hold up great. The leather and stitching hold up with proper oiling. The outsoles take about 2 years to crap out. The steel toe can take some serious weight. Have had no issue with leakage except my first pair but they came in contact multiple times with high concentration acid that killed the leather in about a year. Breathable and warm. Best boots on the market. The boots in the picture are 2 years old with about 6 months of life left.
These are the best boots I've ever worked in, been wearing these for 7 years. Super comfortable, well stitched, good ankle support, and durable. The insulated ones are super warm but I prefer the uninsulated ones even in North Dakota in January. The laces that come with these boots are junk so replace them right out of the box or have replacements on hand.
