When Justin bought Chippewa Boots they dropped this style of boot from the line. Bad idea. But it looks like someone at Justin took their head out of their butt and put this boot into production. I'd give the person a raise. It's hard to find a good 6" boot without those lugs on the sole that are only good for tracking mud into the house. This new Chippewa boot isn't exactly the same as the original style that I've been wearing for years and years, but it's darn close. They were smart enough to keep the quick lace hooks on the top because trying to lace these things up without them would be a real pain. The best thing about these boots is that they are comfortable straight out of the box. No "breaking them in" period that you get with so many other boots. Thank you Justin for bringing this style of boot back with the typical Chippewa high quality standard. I appreciate it.
Great old school leather boots. No liners, just solid, quality leather. Timeless look. Sure to last for years to come. I normally wear 11.5, size 11 fit well for these boots.
I bought the original Made in usa back in 2012 roughly for $105. Now, they are made overseas and double the price. You make the choice.
I’m glad Chippewa Boots are available thru Amazon again. I just noticed I have six pairs of Chippewa Boots now, I like ‘em ! Comfortable, durable, look good….
May God bless these boots and may God bless the United States of America.
Love them!!! No padding to put pressure on your ankles and best shoe ever made!!! I have purchased Chippewa shoes since I was 10 years old. Excellent Farm shoe/Boot.
Chippewa is outsourcing production for this homage line of boots they are calling "Classic 2.0", and the quality is pretty mediocre. They arrived with scuff marks, a chewed up shank and holes and cuts on the outsole. The boot was poorly glued and tilting to one side. There was also adhesive and staining on the leather. They would be okay for maybe $100 or so, but at this price you are getting ripped off quite a bit imo. Luckily, they were prompt with their return policy, so some credit is deserved. Try to avoid if possible.
With much sadness, these had to be returned. The size, although correct in number, did not fit as they did in prior pairs. Huge, and clunky at toe. Returned, sadly.Seller was excellent with return process and the refund was received within two weeks.
