I adore these. They are so comfortable. They fit petfectly. Very classy. Just as pictured.
These shoes are adorable in person! A bit tight/narrow width-size, but "toe-to-heel" is perfect. I like wearing my shoes without socks. It feels like a "firm-hand shake...more like a good-squeeze" along the width area. After reading all of the reviews, I decided to go with my gut instinct and order my 7.5US size (Which is 38 in Euro-size); typically I can either wear a size 7 US, 7.5 US, and 8 US (depending on style of shoes and brand). My foot dimensions are (Heel to Toe) 9.5 inches (right foot) and 9.43 inches (left foot) and slightly under 3.75 inches wide (from side-of big toe to side-of little toe. BTW, I measured my "end-to-end bunions" for comfort, LOL).As mentioned earlier, it was tight (a bit narrow) along the "vamp" part of the shoes (the width) due to my bunions...(embarrassed & sad, I know...) I knew I had to stretch out the width area...Since I do not have one of those shoe stretchers, I decided to come-up with a quick solution. (Note: this remedy successfully worked for me...this tip may not work for everyone) I got a pair of my cotton sports-ankle socks (not as thick as a hiking socks & not too thin like a trouser sock). I put my socks in the dryer to get them very-hot (about 15 mins) then I took the socks out of the dryer and immediately put them on, then slipped on my CL-Marilyn loafers and wore it around the house. I repeated the "hot-socks" process 2-3 times, and now the shoes are stretched perfect...for me to wear without socks. I hope this works for you! Shoes are really nice but fit too narrowly on my feet.
A little stiff and took some "breaking in" but a lovely patent leather trouser shoe.
Very cute shoes and I really wanted to love it. But after just one hour of walking in them, it was unbearable. Every part of my feet hurt. Hard, stiff, and not flexible to walk in. Sorry, wish they were mores comfortable.
Cute shoes. I suggest the next 1/2 size up. I returned them and re-ordered them in a 9. I usually have to do this with really pointy toes shoes. The toe box on these is very narrow. If you are A width or double-A you still may have to go 1/2 size up. I was surprised that the 8 &1/2 did not fit me as I am a true 8 &1/2 and have a narrow foot.
Overall great shoe for price. They are a bit stiff at first but pretty comfortable once broken in. I like the height of heel. Presentable for office, but not too high. I would recommend.
