The inside is much harder than I expected, but it is still a comfortable shoe.I bought these to start wearing shoes again during the recovery of my Achilles tendon surgery, and this brand was suggested. I thought the inside would be softer. I also don’t like how battered they look. One of them look as if someone had worn it and brushed the top of it against the floor, as even though they have that old look, I could still tell one was damaged. Not what I expect from such a pricey shoe.
Nice shoes, comfortable Chaco soles. Nice looking, good quality. Only complaint it the strap won’t stay tightened.
I wanted something similar to my Birkenstock mules/clogs, but with grip on the soles for the winter. I read reviews on several different sites before doing a "try before buying" on here.I normally wear and 8.5-9. I read they can run big. So I got a size 8. 9 would have been way to big, but 8.5 might have been better. The 8 isn't tight, just a tad short,or maybe tight, in the toe area. They're not the most comfortable shoes, but have only had them 2 days. Hopefully, they get better. I doubt they'll be warmer than Birks, but maybe safer on the ice.I would have sent them back, but I got the soles dirty. They are cute, though.*Update! They did get better after a few more days of wearing them*
