When it comes to flip flops, the Chaco Women's Lowdown Flip Flop stands out due to its blend of durability and comfort. The polyester jacquard webbing ensures a strong build while also providing a soft feel against your skin. The non-marking rubber soles offer great traction, which is essential whether you're walking on wet surfaces or sandy beaches.
As you step into these sandals, you'll immediately notice the supportive LUVSEAT™ arch, which is designed specifically to align your foot properly. This makes them a preferable choice for individuals who often experience discomfort with traditional flat flip flops. However, if you're someone who enjoys extra cushioning, you may find these lacking in plushness.
Wearing these all day at events or during casual activities poses no problem, as they are engineered for long-term wear. They're also vegan-friendly and easy to clean, which adds to their practicality. Overall, if you seek a functional yet fashionable flip flop, the Chaco Women's Lowdown is an excellent pick.

I used to LOVE Chaco flips. They were made so well and lasted forever. These are terrible! Not only do they look cheaply made, they ARE! The part just above the thong has a plastic vinyl decorative piece that cracked the first time I wore them. The sizes are different. I have narrow feet and these are too narrow. There is very little arch support and zero heel support. What happened to Chaco? Their products have been terrible the past two years.
If you're foot is thin or narrow, these may be the perfect flip for you. I love the arch support provided by Chaco, but my feet are thin and anything without a lot of adjustable straps are just too loose. Even some with adjustable straps are too loose. These are great because they are unually tight across the straps--even on my foot, it takes some breaking in. Already bought a second pair.
This is the saddest review I've ever had to give. In my pictures, you will see my old ecotread, over 5 years old, so comfy and strong! On the right, you see the lowdown, just over 30 days old. The quality has gone downhill SO MUCH!First, the footbed is extremely narrow. I am a size 8 medium width.Second, the toe strap is way too far back on the shoe, leaving me with a front that catches on things as I walk, and a back that has my heel coming off of it.Third, the actual straps are thin and cut into your feet deeply, especially because there is a new fake leather piece by the toe strap.Fourth, quality overall is miserable. My feet hurt and I can tell these are already breaking down after a month of average use.Save your money and go find a different flip flop or sandal that is still made in the USA. These guys sold out for slave labor over seas and are still trying to take in $50 a pair for these cheap shoes.Don't do it. I'm going to go find a new brand, which sucks because Chaco had my heart forever...
Most flips are too wide for my feet. Finally, Chacos has a style that works to a T (size 7). They are comfortable, sturdy, have good support for flips, and can be worn for hours.
These are not as good as the old ecotread flips that I could live in, but are ok for occasional wear. I can’t wait for the original to come back!
I ordered a women's size 9 and couldn't even slide them on. Gave them to my 9 year old daughter. Super bummed to spend that much on flipflops.
As other reviewers have noted, these are quite narrow and the toe post is positioned so far back that it pushes the foot off the back of the shoe. If you have exceptionally long toes and narrow feet, these might be just the shoes for you, but otherwise they probably won't fit comfortably. For my more average feet, these are so disproportional as to be unwearable. I returned them.In their favor: the quality seemed good and the footbed was supportive.
I can immediately tell these will be my new favorite summer shoes!! They do run a little small. I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9 and they are perfect! I love the support and the quality feels great!
