Caterpillar Men's Delve Lace Up Tan Boot 11 M Review

These boots are nice, a bit stiff for a couple days but have stretched out nicely. They look good dressed up or down. The side zipper is nice and very helpful in putting on and taking off. I've worn normal dress socks and thick winter wool socks with these boots. With wool socks the boots have a tighter fit but not enough to make them uncomfortable. I do prefer the feel of these boots with normal dress socks. If you plan on always wearing thick wool socks I would consider a half size larger. Great boot so far for only wearing them 5 or 6 times.

They are nice boots, definitely do NOT look exactly like picture. The picture gives them a more rustic , worn lighter brownish olive color. I was very interested in these bc of the style and color they portrayed. In actuality , they are a darker brown color . When ordering size I had read many reviews saying to buy larger, I wear a 12 so I got 13. Mistake. I now have an extra inch or so at the end of my boot. They are still wearable , and for 70 dollars total with shipping i guess its not too bad. I had a chance to wear them out this past weekend and they seem to be functionable. I wouldnt recommend for a hard labor every day boot. weekends only.

It feels somehow smaller than I expected. The leather quality isn't top notch and I am pretty sure it is going to look ugly after a few months. The sole starts to show some sings of decay after a month or so. I think it should be a bit cheaper to qualify as a good deal

Great boots by the look. Haven't wore them yet, this review it's only to guide people into selecting the right size. I live in Panama, wich means a return would be unlikely and expensive for me, wich is why i needed to order the right size. My brother has the "caterpillar abe boots" he is half a size smaller than me and his boots are size 9... in that model you have to order a full size smaller, but in this one, Delve, you have to order half a size bigger.So you see, my brother is usually a size 10, so he ordered a 9 instead (Abe boot), perfect fit for him. As for myself, i'm usually a 10,5 but ordered my "Delve boot" in size 11, also a perfect fit. Even if it is the same brand the sizing is different.Hope you find this usefull, this is the review i needed when i ordered, instead i had to wait 3 weeks from the payment to the arrival in Panamá to know if i made a mistake, luckly for me i didn't.Besides from that i can tell you they are softer than my brother's. His boots can be used for maybe half a day, i haven't used this pair at all, just in my house, but i can tell from that that i could wear them a whole day. 100% recomended

Extremely disappointed with the product and the customer service. I tried to contact the seller before posting a review so I could resolve this. But as expected, no one returned my message. These boots were worn for less than a week before the rubber soles began tearing off (notice in the picture that the boots are virtually unworn. Working in an office setting, these boots have only ever been worn on carpet.) I bought Caterpillar because of the name. There are plenty a fashionable leather boots out there for a fair price, but Caterpillar has a name that is backed by a "tough-worker" reputation. But boy was I wrong. Walking around my office like a homeless muppet with delapidating boot soles, unbelievable. I can't imagine what Caterpillar boots do when one actually works in them. So buyer be warned, Caterpillar does not care about there product nor there loyal consumers. They just want your money because there well-kmow name is Caterpillar.

Love them! I wear a 10.5 but ordered a 11. They fit like a 10.75 size. Love the look, comfortable and have already had several compliments on them in first week

few flaws for me: the back of the heel, there's a design with the button, the button itself is not the thing that hurts but the stitched part that's a bit too hard and when pressed on my heel, in a few hour i'll sure to have blisters, the top of my feet is a bit uncomfortable, but not as much compared with the heel part i mentioned. it's exactly as pictured, that's good thing, durability i cannot comment in detail since i still need to find a way to wear it for more than an hour, but i'm very careful in all my shoes so the way i see its built, i know it will last long, rubber material for the sole is a minus, for sure i'll have it replaced in a few months time, which i usually do when my shoes gets old. i recommend haft or full size bigger if you plan to buy this, since i already ordered haft size bigger and i don't have any space left on my feet, i guess that's the reason my heel hurts so much, too bad i live very far and no way to return and replace for a bigger size, but i'll manage to break into it without totally wasting it so it's all cool, still happy with my purchase, perfect if it was haft size bigger. i might change my rating once i manage to wear it for a longer period of time.Edit: Well, after wearing this in the morning, changed shoes after less than an hour, I did have blisters on both heel, worst on my left, so better make sure to buy a bigger size that will give your feet an extra allowance, if it's very fit, it will kill you, again, less than an hour and my work place is just a 3 minute walk, the reason i was able to change shoes immediately, now i have to decide whether to give it another try after my blisters are healed or just give it away. too bad, i really love the design.
