Just an all around great pair of Boots.
Quality ok
Super happy with them. Even though steel-toed, still not too heavy at all. The heels give with my weight and are a comfort to wear even when walking on concrete -- super important that. I am 210 lb and am prone to developing plantar faciitis = must have heels with shock-absorber qualities. These boots fit the bill. Also, the boots are made in Bangladesh, not China. I also like that the soles are stitched in addition to being glued-on. I got the Wide width and they did in fact fit my feet which REQUIRE wide. If you need EEE, well that's another matter. The leather soaked up the wax/oil with which I treated them -- excellent; this is a sign that I will be able to protect that leather from cracking during their lifetime. Don't blame the boots if you don't wax them.
We work outdoors in the lawn, garden sprinkler and landscape lighting each day. These boots get wet near every day, with long periods of mud and muddy waters, even submerged part of the days. I'm NOW and for several years prior when i purchased previous pair. Mean while searching for this great a boot for Best Bang for MY BUCKS and I found My construction boots finally, after lookin for well over fifty years. ALOT of tough miles. Today I am very thankful for my boots with fast lace hook style lacing.
