These are great shoes. I just purchased my third pair. They are comfortable and fit my wide foot.
Have had to stretch out the left boot around the ball of foot area. there was some discomfort from the top lace area with down pressure on the top of toe joints when walking. Could be the lace lugs riveted to the leather. Have loosened the laces and overnight....stuffed a baseball bat into the toe area to stretch it out. Compared to fitting a ski boot, the stretching of this boot to acceptable comfort was a piece of cake. So..now, I love em.
Design is sleek and nice. Shoe not bulky. Soft and comfy when you walk quick paces and yet sturdy and feeling solid. May not be WP BUT I coat over with water proofing to give extra protection.
My husband loves Caterpllar boots. Very comfortable, fit perfect and no pinching. He has problems with plantar facitis and he says these are very cushy in the foot bed.

the size chart that I was guided by was WRONG. This caused inconvenience and expense. I disappointed and annoyed that this simple size chart could be wrong. This needs to be corrected. It appeared that the size chart was incorrect for this style type of boot.I take a 45 EUR so I was prompted to order the 11.5 US size, which equates to 46.5 EUR. I wanted the boots to be a little larger than I am used to for walking.I was surprised when I received the boots to find that on the tongue the size of the boot is described as 11.5 US but 44.5 EUR.This is most misleading and disappointing.What have I purchased size 11.5 US, which according to your size guide is 46.5? EUR or size 10 US which according to your size guide is 44.5 EURThe boots are tight not what I was expecting.
These CATS fit similar to the Active Alaska model, which I loved, but are no longer offered. However, the sizing on this model is more snug, hopefully they stretch a bit.
