When it comes to finding a reliable work boot, the Carolina Men's 8 Inch WP Elm Dark Brown Logger Boot stands out for several reasons. Firstly, the comfort level is commendable; the soft leather conforms nicely to your feet, allowing you to go about your workday pain-free. The 8-inch shaft height gives ample ankle support, which is essential during long hours on your feet.
In terms of durability, this boot really excels. The Copper Crazyhorse leather not only looks rugged but is also resistant to wear and tear. Furthermore, the addition of a 100% waterproof membrane means that you can tackle muddy or wet job sites without worrying about soggy socks.
The support offered by the steel shank is another major plus. It helps alleviate stress on your arches, especially if you are frequently walking or standing. The one-piece rubber lug outsole provides excellent grip, ensuring that you maintain your footing even on slippery surfaces.
However, keep in mind that these boots feature a non-safety toe design, which might not meet the requirements for every workplace environment. Additionally, they are slightly heavier than some other options, which could impact mobility for certain users.

Bought these for my husband, he loves them. Doesnt need steel toe anymore and says these fit perfect and are very comfortable for walking and sturdy for the work he does. Excellent quality, leather is a nice color and finish.
Son in law loves them. Gets a new pair every year for his birthday. Lasts that long.Make sure to buy a boot caddie for the porch, HD cleats on the sole track in a lot of mud
Bought these for my son and he said they fit very well out of the box. He wore them hunting and said they were broke in fairly quickly and definitely waterproof. With a pair of wool socks, they kept his feet warm in 20-40 degree weather. They seem to have very good ankle support and are easy to tie. He is quite pleased with them and will use them for hunting, yard work and anytime he needs boots as opposed to tennis shoes or boat shoes.
Exactly what I needed but took forever to arrive
Honestly the only work boots I buy for three years in a row and I put them through a lot of work! I personally like the higher heel because of my back pain and it helps alleviate pain while wearing them. The leather is tough and stitching keeps for a long time before they wear out, then I buy another pair. But I wear them everyday. The only thing I recommend is keeping a pair of boot laces on hand. The laces will break over time!
The boots literally fell apart in about a month and a half in the water and damp mud and climbing trees The only thing it's held up on these boots for the laces. The bottoms literally fell off the boot The treads just tore off piece by piece these people that manufacture these boots need to reestablish their quality in their product.
They fit right a they have great support. I am over 250 pounds. I do get almost 2 years out of them till the tread wares out..
