These are my third pair of Carolina's but the first not made in the Usa but there is no shortage of quality here. I am a quad e and these boots fit great and are comfortable even after a 12 hour day.
The ad says safety boot. No mention of a composite toe. Just the word composite. Very misleading. I can't wear safety toes because of my feet.
If you need comfortable boots with wide toe box, theses are the boots! Have held up great. No problems - highly recommend Carolina boots!
Probably the most uncomfortable work boot I have ever bought. First time buying Carolina Boots and most likely my last. The boots seem to be sized differently between right and left. I have wide feet so I bought the 4E width and they aren't any wider than any of the other 2E boots I have bought before. NOT HAPPY with this decision. Going to a local shoe repair place to see if there is anything I can do to make them work for me for at least 6 months so I don't feel as though I wasted the money completely.
They're the only 12 4E work boots I can find that actually fit as they should. I could stand in these all day in the beginning. They've worn down some over 3+ months usage and now they're still very comfortable but beginning to show signs of foot stress after 3 hours. The boots are also starting to put out squeaking/creaking noise as I step - not cool guys. Speaking of cool, they're like inserting your feet in an oven...extremely hot boots.
Great boots, I can wearing them for 10+ hours. Only wish the price was a bit lower.
I would have to say this is boot is very good for my line of work and I buy a pair every year.
